Il tour inizia con l'incontro al porto di Cattaro o alla porta principale del centro storico di Cattaro. Il giro turistico inizia con la visita di Perast, una bellissima città costiera barocca. La nostra prima sosta presso un ponte di osservazione con vista panoramica per scattare fotografie di Perast e delle piccole isole pittoresche di Nostra Signora della Roccia e San Giorgio. Continuiamo il tour con un giro in barca verso l'isola di Nostra Signora dello Scoglio. Al termine di questa visita, farai una breve passeggiata per la città, avrai del tempo libero per visitare il Museo Civico, le cappelle, le chiese e i palazzi lussuosi. Ritorniamo a Cattaro e andiamo a Dub, dove iniziamo il giro in funivia. Durante il viaggio in funivia avrai la possibilità di godere di viste meravigliose su Cattaro e sull'intera baia. Passerai da 65 a 1350 m sul livello del mare in soli 11 minuti. Quando arriveremo in cima, avrai del tempo libero per goderti il panorama. Dopo la funivia, ti riporteremo al centro storico di Cattaro, così potrai goderti il fascino della città da solo!

Perast è una delle città meglio conservate dell'intera costa adriatica. Fa parte della regione naturale e storico-culturale di Cattaro, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Palazzi, piazze e chiese di epoca veneziana sono splendidamente conservati a ricordare l'epoca d'oro di Perat come porto commerciale e centro di addestramento marittimo.
Nostra Signora delle Rocce è uno dei due isolotti al largo della costa di Perast nella baia di Kotor, in Montenegro (l'altro è l'isola di Sveti Đorđe). Si tratta di un'isola artificiale creata da un baluardo di rocce e dall'affondamento di navi vecchie e sequestrate, cariche di rocce. La chiesa cattolica di Nostra Signora delle Rocce è l'edificio più grande dell'isolotto e ha un museo annesso. C'è anche un piccolo negozio di souvenir vicino alla chiesa e un faro di navigazione all'estremità occidentale dell'isolotto.
Ritorniamo a Cattaro e andiamo a Dub, dove iniziamo il giro in funivia. Durante il viaggio in funivia avrai la possibilità di godere di viste meravigliose su Cattaro e sull'intera baia. La città vecchia – questa è la parte più famosa di Cattaro, dove vengono preservate la storia, la cultura e la tradizione di Cattaro. Il centro storico di Kotor ha un gran numero di monumenti di architettura medievale: chiese, cattedrali, palazzi e musei. La sua bellezza è completata dalla moltitudine di strade strette, piazze e mercati. La città vecchia di Cattaro si distingue anche per il gran numero di porte elegantemente realizzate, palazzi di famiglie benestanti e un gran numero di scale. Il vecchio nucleo di Cattaro è oggi considerato l'entità urbana medievale meglio conservata del Mediterraneo. I più grandi e imponenti sono sicuramente i bastioni cittadini che circondano la città.

Luka was a wonderful tour guide showing us the highlights of Kotor. We started with a boat ride to the Lady of the Rock with stunning views. Then went to the cable car to see even better views. Finally we stepped back in time with shopping in Old Town.
We had a beautiful day in Kotor. It truly was one of our favorite stops on our cruise. The church was beautiful, and the views from the cable car at the top of Kotor were breathtaking. Our guide, Wolf, was fantastic. He knew tons of history, drove us around in a private vehicle and shared his personal life experiences with us too. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and hope to return to Kotor in the future.
Vassily was fantastic. He gave clear explanations of the culture of Kotor and carefully explained the sights on the tour. The cable car ride was the highlight and the Lady of the Rocks Church was unique. This was a tour suitable for almost everyone..

The new cable car excursion was fantastic, with magnificent views and picture opportunities. Our tour guide, Nicholas was a native of the area and added so much to the richness of the experience. Also guiding us to the town of Perast and Lady of the Rock Church. So much tradition in this beautiful and quaint coastal and sea town. Words cannot really describe the feeling you get by just absorbing this place.
The country is beautiful and Luke our guide was amazing and very helpful he made us feel like family. The experience was perfect and I would repeat it again only with Luke
Vasilly was an excellent guide: helpful, friendly, smart and informative. He worked with us to make sure we saw everything we wanted while making it back to our ship at the necessary time. Not only did we learn about the beautiful things we saw and experienced, we learned about history and life in Kotor and Montenegro. We wish that our ship's schedule had allowed more time.
“V” is an extremely knowledgeable and personable local guide! We took the cable car to the top (BEFORE the clouds rolled in) and spent 30 minutes, taking pictures and hearing a lot about the development of the area. He told us some local lore (including jokes) and seemed quite interested in hearing about our travels. He even talked sports with me. 👍 The drive to Perast was scenic, and the boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks was marvelous! V dropped us at the Old City after a thoroughly fun few hours. Book this tour and ask for Vasilije — you won’t be disappointed.
This was definitely the highlight of our cruise stop in Montenego. Our driver and guide was Eric. He spoke good English and explained the history of Montenegro and its past. He also adjusted his tour stops to minimize the cruise ship crowds. For example, he took us to the cable car experience first and there were very few people there. And what views! They were amazing! Eric then took us to Perast and dropped us off for a visit to the Lady of the Rocks. We were able to coordinate a pick up and Eric took us back to the cruise port where we visited the old town before returning to the ship. This tour is definitely worthwhile!
