Oh my goodness we LOVED our tour with Chiara! What a wealth of knowledge and just so joyful! We paid for a private guide because we wanted the tour to cater to our interests and Chiara was the perfect guide for us! Her energy is electric and her obvious comfort and happiness in the churches is contagious! Thank you, Chiara for sharing all your knowledge and experience!
Our tour was fantastic! Francesco is such a professional. Not only did we see how polite and respectful he was with everyone he encountered along the way (other tour groups, other museum patrons and various staff and security personnel) but he read our group perfectly. He shared just the right amount of information at each stop along the way to keep us engaged. It was perfect! Thank you!
Wasn’t great, no earpiece system so it was really hard to hear our guide even when they did speak. Not a lot of stories or content, basic kids activity books that weren’t good. Lots of times the guide was asking us to ask them questions if we wanted to know anything but on other tours we have done we have had interesting stories and facts that there is no way we would know to ask for. Wouldn’t recommend. Besides the skip the line benefits we’d have been better off ourselves with the audio guide.

The Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel tour was the highlight of our visit! Francesca is exceptionally knowledgeable and conducted a fantastic tour, complete with all of the interesting information, curiosity and time for photos. It was a pleasure and we highly recommend Francesca and Liv Tours. The ticketing, communication and logistics were all well organized and made it easy for us. She had a wonderful way of speaking to the children so they could understand and stay engaged, and she kept their interest the entire time—no small feat in such a vast museum! Her knowledge was extraordinary, yet she explained everything with clarity, enthusiasm, and warmth. One of the highlights was having the museum practically to ourselves thanks to the early access. Walking through the galleries and the Sistine Chapel in such a peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere made the experience feel magical and deeply personal. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better tour. Highly recommended for families—this is the perfect way to experience the Vatican.
We had a wonderful experience with Giovanni at the Vatican Museum yesterday! He was delightful, attentive, and informative. We enjoyed his expertise on showing us the artwork in the museum. He interacted with every tour participant and took an interest in where we were from. I hope we can tour with Giovanni again in the future.
Leonardo was a great tour guide! I loved how he capitalized on our time in line to give us a lot of the history, so we could move fast to the overlook of St Peter’s and get good pictures in the morning light. He knew a lot about the Vatican and shared great insights once we were inside. Highly recommend.
Overall, the tour and experience through the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel was incredible. Our tour guide Vera was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to really guide us to an impactful experience even though we were pressed for time (due to our schedule).

Our guide, Alessandro G, was absolutely fantastic! His passion and enthusiasm for art and history were contagious, and he brought every part of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel to life. Alessandro shared so many fascinating facts and thoughtful explanations about the endless masterpieces we saw—it truly enhanced the entire experience. We left with a much deeper appreciation for the art, the history, and the incredible beauty of the Vatican. Highly recommend any Liv Tour and Alessandro in particular!
