In questo tour da ricordare ci godremo 3 famose attrazioni montenegrine e diverse regioni montenegrine. Parco nazionale del lago di Scutari, isola di Santo Stefano e parco Milocer, la città vecchia di Kotor e i suoi dintorni dichiarati patrimonio culturale dell'UNESCO. Durante il viaggio, godrai di viste spettacolari sul più grande lago balcanico: il lago di Scutari, la costa montenegrina, le città di Budva, Kotor e Petrovac, nonché le colline e le montagne. Avrai l'opportunità di gustare prelibatezze di pesce in alcune delle taverne in riva al mare o nel centro storico di Kotor, di assaggiare la famosa torta alla crema di Kotor o alcuni dei migliori vini montenegrini.

A soli 20 minuti da Podgorica c'è il lago di Scutari, il lago più grande dei Balcani, la zona è stata proclamata parco nazionale, arruolata come zona umida Ramsar di importanza internazionale, famosa per i suoi uccelli (circa 270 specie), pesci, ninfee, ricco patrimonio culturale, villaggi incantevoli e il miglior vino montenegrino. Faremo un giro in auto intorno al lago, faremo una breve passeggiata e ci godremo la vista da bei punti panoramici. Come opzione possiamo fare un giro in barca di 1 ora tra ninfee e uccelli.
L'isola di Saint Stefan è la sede del più famoso resort alberghiero montenegrino ed è uno dei luoghi più unici al mondo. C'è una grande storia dietro quest'isola e una lunga lista di personaggi famosi che hanno trascorso le loro vacanze all'interno delle sue mura. Ci divertiremo a passeggiare nel bel parco nelle immediate vicinanze dell'isola di St. Stefan e scoprire alcune delle spiagge più belle della Riviera di Budva..
Dopo mezz'ora di piacevole viaggio dal punto panoramico di Santo Stefano saremo nel centro storico di Cattaro. Cattaro è una vera perla della costa adriatica, con le sue magnifiche mura inserite nel patrimonio culturale dell'UNESCO dal 1979, tra i primi 60 luoghi al mondo. È la città dove si trova circa il 50% dei monumenti culturali montenegrini. Cammineremo per le sue stradine, daremo uno sguardo ai suoi angoli nascosti, visiteremo le antiche chiese e, se lo vorrai, cammineremo lungo le mura della città vecchia, protette dall'UNESCO come la città stessa. Dopo il tour a piedi, godrai di un'ora di tempo libero.

Three days after our tour, the memories are still incredibly vivid. We were so lucky to meet Nino, a guide who is genuinely passionate about his role and immensely proud of his homeland. Because this was a private tour, the rhythm was completely relaxing and gave us the flexibility to adjust our schedule on the fly. Nino made it possible for us to witness the breathtaking beauty of Montenegro in a short period of time. We had such an amazing experience that we immediately booked a second private tour with him to the north—which proved to be one of the best decisions of our trip! 😊 Nino is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly generous. We cannot recommend him and his tours highly enough!

We booked this Viator tour expecting to visit Kotor and Skadar Lake, but what we got was so much more. Our guide went above and beyond the original itinerary and brought us to Perast, Sveti Stefan, and Cetinje as well, turning the trip into a full Montenegro experience. Kotor was absolutely stunning, with its old town charm and dramatic mountain backdrop. Skadar Lake was peaceful and refreshing—a perfect contrast to the coastal stops. But the unexpected additions really made the trip special. Perast felt like a hidden gem, Sveti Stefan was picture-perfect, and Cetinje gave us a deeper glimpse into Montenegro’s history and culture. Everything was well-paced, and we never felt rushed despite covering so many beautiful places. Huge credit to our guide for making the experience seamless, informative, and genuinely enjoyable. If you’re considering this tour, just know you might get lucky and experience even more than what’s listed. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to see the highlights of Montenegro in a day!

I go on a lot of tours/trips etc, but I have to say (albeit belatedly) the day I spent exploring Montenegro with Nino was exceptional. He made me feel at ease from the moment I met him, and his knowledge of and passion for Montenegro made it such a memorable experience!

Can’t say enough wonderful things about this tour. Nino picked up and dropped off at the airport, customized the tour to our liking. Nino was super knowledgeable, friendly, proud of his country, and showed us the best time. He even took us to a bar by the river and enjoyed a drink before dropping us off. Don't visit Montenegro without Nino guiding you.

We took a boat trip on Skadar Lake, which was great for bird watching. Sveti Stefan was beautiful. Kotor was magical. Really a picture perfect day in every way. Our guide, Nino, was so helpful at creating the best outing for us. I would highly recommend.
