Un eccellente tour ornitologico, che ti permetterà di visitare i luoghi più interessanti della Costa del Sol. Ancora più eccezionale: potremo scoprire la maggior parte dei principali ecosistemi andalusi, dalla costa alla cima della montagna... e acquisire una buona conoscenza della fauna mediterranea.

Itinerario
Osservazione di uccelli marini e costieri a Cabo Pino e nel faro di Calaburras (area marina protetta di Calahonda), particolarmente abbondanti in inverno e durante la stagione migratoria.
Una visita alla foce del Guadalhorce è d'obbligo, poiché questo sito è una delle zone umide più belle dell'Andalusia e senza dubbio uno dei migliori siti di osservazione degli uccelli in Spagna (!). Come previsto, ci aspettano molti uccelli acquatici e trampolieri. Nei giorni migliori, esperti birdwatcher avvistano fino a un centinaio di specie in questa piccola riserva.
Il nostro lungo circuito ci porterà al Rio Grande, un altro bellissimo sito con foresta ripariale.
È ora di dirigersi verso la sierra calcarea "bianca". Visita di El Juanar con splendide viste sulla Costa del Sol e sull'Africa. Il tempismo dovrebbe essere buono per alcuni rapaci. Nelle giornate calde, la pineta ci proteggerà un po' dal caldo.
Passiamo quindi a un piccolo bacino idrico e ruscello mediterraneo, che scorre dal vicino Parco Nazionale della Sierra de Las Nieves, dove attende una biodiversità più impressionante.

We had a great day birdwatching with Florent at Guadalhorce Nature Reserve and nearby coastal spots. He was good company and was very knowledgeable about birds, plants and local nature. He spoke good English (with a French accent) and knew where to find the most interesting birds. His high quality telescopes were great, and we saw 50+ birds including white- headed duck, marbled duck, avocet, spoonbill, flamingo, black-winged stilt, booted eagle and osprey. We had a most enjoyable day. The reserve has well-sited bird hides, and the paths are good, but there are no facilities such as toilets.

This was a great experience. We saw over 50 different bird species. We spent the beter part of 5 to 6 hours walking the nature reserve and got a lot of focus and attention. My son is a big bird photographer and enjoyed every minute of it. I took pictures on my iphone and they came out great. Bring water!
I try to get out and see local birds whenever I travel. I was certainly not disappointed with coastal Spain. Gunther took me to a natural space that offered both brackish and fresh water plus prairie type areas. I saw a number of species for the first time which is the point. His knowledge of local flora also was enough to satisfy my curiosity. I can't recommend his services enough.
Florent took us to locales we would not have found on our own. He is an expert naturalist who helped us see and identified birds, reptiles, amphibians, and flora. Our sightings of unusual butterflies and dragonflies was delightful. We saw new birds - including a wagtail feeding young - and loved learning about the plants around us.
Florent was a wonderful guide. We set him the hard task of finding small birds which he did with enthusiasm. He is a delightful companion, hugely knowledgeable about many areas of conservation, not only birds. It was a memorable and rewarding experience and I recommend the company unreservedly.

Nearly 60 species observed with an experienced guide with scientific competence and good company. An opportunity to visit nature in the surroundings of Ronda and walk the full agricultural and marshes of Fuente de Piedra to Campillos.
We had a great day together with Florent exploring the best birding sites in our area. We apprecieate a lot that Florent organized the day according to our wishes and interests and saw not only new species of birds, but also got a lot of new knowledge about the mediterranean flora and fauna in the different habitats he introduced us.
