Vi presentiamo la “preziosa” Costiera Amalfitana, ricca di fiori, rocce accarezzate dalla luce del sole e dall'ampio mare aperto. Insieme partiamo alla scoperta della costa vergine e delle spiagge naturali accessibili solo via mare, un mondo antico fatto di vecchie case riparate dietro chiese storiche, collegate tra loro da viuzze e scalinate, le piazze che diventano salotti “a cielo aperto”, un palcoscenico di mostre artistiche e culinarie. Itinerario
Bianco, verde e azzurro, i colori tipici della ceramica di Vietri; questi colori riflettono nelle acque lo spirito del villaggio che un tempo era un piccolo porto. Due scogli visti in mezzo al mare si chiamano “I due fratelli” divenuti il simbolo del paese (secondo la leggenda questi scogli rappresentano due fratelli riuniti dopo la morte dalle divinità del mare). Vietri è molto caratteristica per i suoi edifici in stile rococò in gesso bianco, i suoi vicoli riparati, la lavanderia stesa all'esterno, i suoi balconi, le fontane e le insegne dei negozi in ceramica.
Una scenografica torre del XVI secolo, “Torre Crestarella”, fatta costruire dal viceré spagnolo di Napoli, Don Pedro de Toledo, domina la spiaggia che porta anche il nome della torre. Con i suoi 120 metri di sabbia mista a piccoli ciottoli, la spiaggia della Crestarella è la nostra prima tappa.
Successivamente, avvicinandosi a Cetara, proverete l'illusione di guardare una piccola oasi: il riflesso delle casette luccica sull'acqua e sulle rocce circostanti della spiaggia. Catara era l'antica fortezza saracena e il suo nome deriva dal latino Cetariae, “tonnara” (rete da pesca).
Più avanti scopriamo la “Spiaggia dei Limoni”, una piccola baia lunga 20 metri accessibile solo via mare, un luogo di bellezza preservato. È immerso in un folto limoneto che domina dall'alto e una parete rocciosa che lo ripara dalla brezza occidentale.
A seguire, tra il cielo e il mare, la torre di Erchie. A questo punto vi sentirete come se non voleste mai rompere il silenzio di una bellezza naturale così incantevole. Qui pace e natura si fondono. La Torre di Erchie, con le sue quattro caditoie alla sommità, è in pietra calcarea locale e oggi si presenta in condizioni molto buone, rispetto alle altre torri della costa. La sua forma originale si è conservata nei secoli, con la sua incantevole posizione sugli scogli che cadono nelle acque calme.
Passeremo poi a Maiori, con il suo antico stile marinaro, caratterizzato da arte e cucina, “una città immaginaria, una storia non del tutto perduta…” (Salvatore Quasimodo). Vicino a Capo d'Orso, nuota nell'acqua blu.
Successivamente, vedremo Minori, la città del gusto, dove si producono limoncello, pasta e dolci tradizionali. I limoni tipicamente affusolati hanno ottime proprietà biologiche e medicinali e sono un ingrediente essenziale della cucina della Costiera Amalfitana.
Quando il cielo sembra fondersi con il mare, è tempo di avvicinarsi a Conca dei Marini, dove nel 1700 fu cotto per la prima volta nel monastero di Santa Rosa un dolce a forma di conchiglia. Era composta da migliaia di sfogliatine sottili arrotolate l'una nell'altra, farcite con crema pasticcera e amarene: la cosiddetta “sfogliatella di Santa Rosa”.
Oltrepassato Capo di Conca, ci fermeremo in una bellissima baia con acque limpide e poco profonde proprio sotto le scogliere, spesso luogo di visita di bagnanti, subacquei e canoisti. Non si può resistere alla tentazione di fare il bagno nelle acque del “Fiordo di Furore” accessibile via mare o tramite la scalinata lungo gli scogli che portano alla spiaggia. È un'esperienza meravigliosa soprattutto verso mezzogiorno quando i raggi del sole raggiungono le scogliere. Acque profonde al largo, ciottoli e acque cristalline a terra.
Successivamente scopriamo Praiano raggiungendo l'isolotto di Galli. Un tempo era chiamata "l'isola delle sirene": si narra che Ulisse sia passato di qui evitando le tre affascinanti sirene Partenope, Leucosia e Legea. È qui che la costa diventa un vero paradiso vivente, e si dice che gli antichi locali non fossero preoccupati di andare in paradiso o all'inferno con la morte poiché avevano già sperimentato il paradiso durante la loro vita in Costiera Amalfitana.
Andando oltre troviamo una serie di case bianche, archi e cupole famose in tutto il mondo: questa è Positano. Positano è piena di rocce che sembrano dee, boutique colorate e gallerie d'arte; qui puoi davvero sentire l'influenza e la tradizione della religione e della cucina locale. Qui puoi goderti i posti migliori e fare una nuotata o uscire in città.
Proseguendo scopriamo Atrani e Amalfi; puoi vivere Amalfi in barca o con escursioni via terra, passeggiando lungo le sue viuzze con gradini che portano in cima alla città. Un affascinante paesino con antiche mura bianche e un irresistibile stile marinaro, il grigio intenso dei suoi passi, un delizioso dolce locale alla crema di limone, peperoncini rossi venduti lungo i vicoli, le maioliche verdi e l'antica storia della famosa carta di Amalfi.

This was money well spent. We had a great time seeing the sights and learning about the Amalfi coast with breaks for diving off the boat into crystal-blue waters!
This was one of the best things we did on our trip! Luca and Amelia were absolutely lovely, their boat was beautiful!!! Extremely well taken care of (looked brand new). We had lovely fruit and cheese platter and Prosecco. We stopped at all the beautiful sites and they were happy to let us customize as we saw fit. I almost cancelled this trip because we had just done one to Capri two days prior, I am so glad we didn’t- it was an absolutely amazing experience.
Both Amelie and Luca were great hosts who provided a wonderful experience. My wife and I traveled with 4 of our friends (2 other couples) and were given a private boat ride with a tour of the stunning Amalfi coast. They gave us snacks and drinks and stopped at a beachfront restaurant where we had a pretty good lunch. 10/10 would recommend this company.
My husband and I booked the Private Tour of the Amalfi Coast for our honeymoon and it was the best experience and truly felt worth the money. Amelia and Luca were so friendly and made everything so easy for us. They picked us up in Positano on a beautiful boat (our jaws dropped when we saw what we’d be riding on) and then took us up the coast while pointing out all of the sights. They had Prosecco and other drinks/snacks for us on board and we were even able to stop for lunch along the way. We also stopped to swim a couple of times, which was really fun (one spot was even at a private beach!) Highly recommend booking with Direction Capri - this was such a great way to see the beauty of the Amalfi Coast!

We had an amazing time with Amelia and Luca! We stopped to swim in a few spots and also ate lunch at a beach that is only accessible by boat. This was also a special day for our friends that came with us. We told Amelia and Luca that our friend was planning on proposing to his girlfriend during the trip. They made the moment perfect and he was able to propose with Positano as the backdrop! 5 star experience!!!

This will probably be one of the most memorable and amazing experiences of my life. I booked the private boat tour with my two sisters and it was absolutely incredible. Amelia is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Her English is very good and she communicated with me every step of the way. She even picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the end. Francesco seemed to be an expert skipper and had a laid back demeanor. The boat was very nice, with enough room to seat 3-4 adults in the stern and 3 in the bow. Since we got the boat to ourselves we switched between the stern and bow just to change it up from time to time :) Amelia had fresh fruit, prosecco, water, and other snacks for us on board. Amelia and Francesco were so accommodating and we were willing to let us change up the schedule a bit although we ended up sticking with Amelia's suggestions about which ports to stop at. We stopped twice for a swim and once for lunch. Pool noodles were provided to make the swims more relaxing. Towels were also provided. I truly cannot describe how incredible an experience this was. I would do it again in a heartbeat and cannot recommend the tour enough. You will love it, if you are thinking about, stop thinking and book it. You will have the time of your life! We did!

Our family had the best time on the boat visiting the amazing Amalfi coast. Our guide Amelia and captain Francesco were incredible hosts, ensuring a memorable day for all of us. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at a beachfront restaurant as well as several stops to swim in the sea. We even glimpsed a dolphin on our way back! A definite must do experience!
We had the most wonderful day of our holiday on the boat of Luca and his Amelia. Had excellent contact by mail! Not expensive , and worth every euro. A private boat, the tasty snacks, a cold drink and telling a lot about the Amalfi coast .. nothing was too crazy. They reserved us lunch in a beautiful place and we swam several times! Great day, great reliable people! Much better than the big organizers in dd port. Clean boat and well arranged. We'd love to come back!
Absolutely the best experience ever!!! Amelia and the driver were so friendly!!! They were very informative about the area. They also provided us with towels, drinks, snacks, and even ‘pool noodles’ (flotation devices) so we could relax while swimming in the water. When our first trip was cancelled because of bad weather, they went out of their way to help us change the trip for the following day, which included driving us to the train station afterward so we could enjoy as much time possible on the boat. Seeing Amalfi from the water is the only way to see the coast. Highly recommend!!! Worth every penny!!! 😀😀😃
