In questo tour, avrai un grande assaggio di Atene! Durante il tuo tour privato visiterai la sacra Roccia dell'Acropoli con il Partenone, ammirerai i resti del Tempio di Zeus, visiterai il moderno Stadio Olimpico, Panatenetico o "Kalimarmaro", e poi attraverserai i Giardini Nazionali nel cuore della città. Vedrai anche la piazza Syntagma e assisterai al cambio orario delle guardie, di fronte al Parlamento greco. Durante il tour vedrete anche la famosa trilogia di architettura neoclassica, la Biblioteca Nazionale, l'Accademia delle Arti e delle Scienze e la prima Università di Atene. Successivamente, ci dirigeremo verso Uptown fino a Kolonaki, dove negozi di moda e d'alta moda, si incontrano con bei caffè sul marciapiede. Più tardi andremo in centro al vivace mercato di carne e pesce, prima di dirigerci verso Monastiraki Square. Infine, se il tempo e il traffico lo consentono, vedrai una vista mozzafiato di tutto ciò che hai visto finora, dal punto più alto della città, la collina del Licabetto!

Il Sightseeing di Atene di solito inizia presso la collina dell'Acropoli, con noti capolavori architettonici dell'età dell'oro di Atene che comprende Eretteo (statue femminili delle Cariatidi o delle Fanciulle dedicate alla dea Atena e al dio Poseidone), il tempio di Atena Nike e Propilei. Avrai anche una grande possibilità di prevedere il monumento (che pone un ordine in mente), che è il Partenone. Dalla cima della collina dell'Acropoli è possibile vedere l'Odeon di Erode Attico, il Teatro di Dioniso e l'Areopago (Collina di Marte). Preparati per una giornata indimenticabile! Di fronte alla piazza centrale di Atene, situata nella facciata anteriore del palazzo del Parlamento, gli Evzones (soldati) che indossano la tradizionale uniforme da guerra del 1821 custodiscono la famosa Tomba del Milite Ignoto.

Oggi abbiamo un nuovissimo edificio della Biblioteca Nazionale. Questo edificio fa parte della "Trilogia della Cultura" ateniese, situata in via Panepistimiou.
Petralona è un quartiere ateniese fuori dalla zona turistica di Atene. Questo è il luogo che ospita un'incredibile taverna locale, dove possiamo portarti a pranzo (facoltativo, il pranzo non è incluso nel prezzo del tour).

The planning was easy with Marcos but what really made it worthwhile was that our Tour Guide Nancy, was absolutely fantastic! Was very prompt picking us up at the hotel, asked about our priorities and then stitched it all together seamlessly. We asked for a local, family ran restaurant for lunch and boy did she deliver! We had a fantastic day in Athens thanks to this taxi tour. Markos was an exceptional driver: friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the entire day. During the tour, he shared fascinating and informative explanations about the history, culture, and traditions of Greece, and thanks to him we learned so much, which made the experience even more enriching. What an amazing experience in Athens. Our guide Markos made the day one we will never forget. He knew so much about “his” city. We made many historical stops and he even had photos and maps for us to visualize and better understand the ruins and the physical locations where history was made. Wonderful all day tour. Sotiri was very knowledgeable and Marcus the driver got around the narrowest streets and dropped us at the door without seeming any effort. If I was driving we’d still be in the hotel parking lot. From pickup to drop off it was a memorable experience.

Yannis was amazing. He picked us up from hotel, vehicle was very clean and comfortable. As he drove us from Athen to Corinth he gave us so much information on the history and the areas that we drove through. He treated us like family and offered water and suggestions on area to go to and things to not miss in Athens and surrounding areas.
