Un tour guidato unico di Atene di un'intera giornata e un'introduzione alle attrazioni più importanti della città, tra cui l'Acropoli, l'Herodeion, il Museo dell'Acropoli, Plaka e altro ancora. È un tour in cui il visitatore può avere un primo "assaggio" della città, da una piccola scala accanto a importanti monumenti, ad una su larga scala vedendo viste panoramiche di Atene dalle due colline più famose, l'Acropoli e il Licabetto. Inoltre, una volta menzionato il "gusto", gusterai l'autentica cucina greca in uno dei tanti ottimi ristoranti che esistono nel centro della città. L'acropoli di Atene è il sito archeologico più visitato della Grecia. Intorno e sulla collina sacra di Atene esistono costruzioni meravigliose. Il Partenone, l'Erectheion, un auditorium romano, l'antico teatro greco e molto altro ancora. Ma questi monumenti sono "vuoti" senza la guida di un esperto che svelerà tutte le storie che "vestono" questi miracoli marmorei.
Se non visiti il Museo dell'Acropoli dopo la visita all'Acropoli, è come se avessi visto il 50%. Questi 2 siti sono collegati e avrai un'immagine completa dell'Acropoli. Vedrai ceramiche, sculture, statue di diversi periodi temporali e, naturalmente, le restanti squisite sculture decorative del famoso Partenone.

Il centro storico di Atene è pieno di vicoli pittoreschi e molti monumenti di epoche diverse, come l'antico mercato romano, la torre dei venti, una moschea ottomana, chiese bizantine. Quella era Atene fino al 1830: una piccola città di 20.000 abitanti.
La prima Università della Grecia moderna costruita a metà del XIX secolo in stile revival greco, l'Università Nazionale di Atene! Si compone di tre edifici, l'Accademia, l'edificio amministrativo e la Biblioteca Nazionale. Probabilmente gli edifici più belli della moderna Atene.

Alex, our guide, and Victor, our driver, were each fantastic. Alex was incredibly knowledgeable, and Victor was very skilled. We toured the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, among other sites, and had a great lunch. It was an overall A+ experience. We recommend it highly.

Just had the best day exploring Athens with Alexios! We saw everything - the Acropolis Museum (skip-the-line FTW!), wandered the cute Plaka neighborhood, devoured amazing Greek food, and learned tons about the city. If you have the opportunity to see Athens - see it with Alexios P & his driver Lazaros! Alexios will make the Acropolis site come alive for you- you can almost see the ancient Greeks & hear the gods. The Acropolis museum had meaning because of him - otherwise you could easily become completely overwhelmed. Alexios’s command of history, archeology, mythology & of course, the English language, makes him an indispensable partner as you walk the remarkable ancient lands. His site: Greece at Last, is very informative & easy to navigate. Lazaros drove us not only comfortably & safely, but with very useful information & a sense of humor (and cold water!) & enabled us to see other landmarks throughout the city. Lazaros also made useful suggestions about the next leg of our trip - how to drive to other cities, budget our time & where to eat when we got there !!
