Itinerario
Iniziamo il nostro tour dirigendoci verso Firostefani. Adagiato a nord di Fira, il villaggio di Firostefani, "corona di Fira", deve il suo nome alla sua posizione elevata. In effetti, i panorami mozzafiato di Fira e del vulcano dal villaggio sono davvero indimenticabili. Uno dei punti salienti qui sarà la visita alla Blue Domed Church, l'iconica chiesa che ha adornato la copertina di così tanti opuscoli e guide.
Proseguendo verso nord-ovest di Fira, raggiungiamo Imerovigli. A circa 300 metri sopra il livello del mare, Imerovigli è molto spesso definita il "balcone dell'Egeo" e sicuramente è all'altezza di questo nome offrendo una vista spettacolare del tramonto sull'Egeo. Altri punti salienti sono le numerose chiese in tipica architettura delle Cicladi, in particolare la chiesa di Ai-Stratis e il Monastero di San Nikolaos, così come Skaros Rock che presenta i resti di una fortezza medievale.
Ora siamo in viaggio verso Oia, sicuramente il villaggio più famoso di Santorini e uno di impareggiabile bellezza. Certamente, qui non mancano le attrazioni per incuriosire il visitatore: il tramonto glorioso, le case costruite in nicchie all'interno della roccia vulcanica, le chiese dai tetti blu, i panorami stimolanti e l'atmosfera idilliaca ricompenseranno generosamente il visitatore di questo luogo unico.
Poi arriva una destinazione speciale leggermente fuori dai sentieri battuti. Pyrgos Village esibisce tutta la magia di Santorini e le viste panoramiche del marchio su entrambi i lati dell'isola, ma conserva anche le caratteristiche del dominio veneziano. Le tradizionali case e sentieri delle Cicladi circondano l'antico castello veneziano, offrendo il meglio dei due mondi e rendendo Pyrgos Village un luogo da non perdere.
Nessun tour potrebbe essere completo senza una visita a Profitis Ilias. Arroccato sulla cima del Monte Profitis Ilias (Profeta Elia), il punto più alto di Santorini a 600 metri sul mare, si trova l'omonimo monastero. Anche chi è contrario a scattare fotografie non resisterà all'impulso di scattare qualche foto da questo incredibile punto di osservazione.
La nostra prossima tappa sarà Megalochori ("grande villaggio"). Con la sua atmosfera calda e accogliente, è uno dei villaggi più pittoreschi e tradizionali dell'isola. Dimore storiche, case restaurate e rifugi dei pirati sono le caratteristiche principali di questo autentico antico insediamento.
La nostra prossima destinazione ci presenta qualcosa di diverso, il sito archeologico di Akrotiri. Qui si trova uno degli insediamenti preistorici più significativi dell'Egeo. Akrotiri si era sviluppata in una grande città prima che fosse ricoperta di cenere dalle eruzioni vulcaniche. Tuttavia, la cenere ha conservato le strutture e il loro contenuto permettendo al visitatore di ammirare questa meraviglia dell'antichità.
Potrebbe essere il momento giusto per una nuotata adesso e Black Beach, o Perissa, è una scelta eccellente. Black Beach è in realtà la fine della lunga spiaggia di sabbia nera di Perivolos e, senza dubbio, è la spiaggia più frequentata e famosa di Santorini. Dopo aver gustato le acque cristalline e l'impressionante sabbia nera, dovresti assolutamente provare le specialità locali nei numerosi ristoranti sul mare.
E se pensi di aver visto tutto, considera Red Beach. Questa famosa spiaggia è fedele al suo nome: questa sorprendente e straordinariamente strana formazione di rocce vulcaniche rosse che si affacciano sulla spiaggia crea uno spettacolo unico da non perdere.
Tuttavia, a Santorini c'è molto di più che panorami spettacolari, chiese dai tetti blu, stretti sentieri lastricati e spiagge meravigliose. Quindi la nostra prossima tappa ci porta alla cantina Venetsanos; acquisisci un'esperienza diretta della tradizionale arte vinicola di Santorini e sentiti libero di scoprire e gustare le squisite varietà di vino locale per cui l'isola è diventata famosa.

Dimitris was the perfect tour guide for our group of 5! He tailored the tour to what we wanted to see and do. He was very patient with us, and did not hurry us. Two in our group had to walk slower-one having had a knee replacement almost 3 months ago. He was very gentlemanly-holding packages when we needed to take pictures, opening the car doors for us, helping us in and out of the van, even picking up items we had dropped, etc. His recommendations for sites to see and where to eat lunch were perfect!!! He made our day perfect and truly was the perfect host! I highly recommend Dimitris as a tour guide!!

Our family of four recently visited Santorini for a day, flying from and back to Athens. With over 10 hours on the island, we debated between renting a car or booking a tour—and let me tell you, booking the tour was worth every penny! There is no way we could have managed the cliffside hairpin turns and stressful parking on our own, let alone gained such personal insight into the island’s daily life. Because it was a private tour, Sara shared fascinating history and local stories that made the island come alive. She took us to EVERY corner of Santorini, from the iconic blue domes of Oia to hidden paths, quiet nooks, and gems in the smaller villages. What truly set this experience apart was how Sara engaged with our kids (ages 9 and 13) without hesitation. It didn’t feel like a formal tour; it felt like visiting the island with local family members. Sara and Jimmy made us feel exceptionally welcome from start to finish. A huge shoutout to Stelios as well, he was incredibly helpful behind the scenes, advising us to tweak our tour timing to better align with our flights and arranging a seamless separate transfer from Fira back to the airport. Every detail was handled with care. We couldn’t recommend this team enough!

Our group of 11 did the full day tour and had a wonderful time. Sarah was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. She answered all of our questions and gave us lots of fun and interesting information about the island, from the myths to the history to the winemaking traditions. Our driver Stelios provided great details about life on the island as a Santorini native, was very friendly, and gave us a smooth and easy ride through the winding streets of the island. They were also able to help us reschedule when half of our group got delayed at the airport. We got to see many beautiful views of Santorini, had a delicious lunch at a beachside tavern, and got some great pictures. I would definitely reccomend!

It was an incredible experience. Our guide, Elektra, was the best, showing us everything about the island, including its tourist areas, beaches, and food. With Angel as our driver, the tour around the entire island was unforgettable, and the service was the best of all. They explained the history of Santorini to us very well and answered every question we asked. We highly recommend this tour as it is one of the most comprehensive of all.

We had an amazing day trip with Stelios and our guide Stephan was informative. Both were kind and funny. Stelios was our driver for our transfer to and from airport, as well as taking us to Thira in the evenings. He also made many recommendations, even telling us the best spots for food and sunset views etc. He was respectful and made our journeys and stay very comfortable in Santorini.

We did a private all day tour, starting with the 5-6 hour private tour of Santorini followed by the Wine tour with sunset at Santos winery. I can't say enough about how awesome the experience was and it was made special by Jenny. Her knowledge of Santorini and her love of her island were clear. She was accommodating and knew all the right times to be at places juts before they filled up and the secret spots for the best pictures. She's also a really good photographer. I have already recommended her to a friend who also used her this week and loved her and the team.

Our guide Kostas, made the day memorable. He took us to hidden locations to get the most amazing photos and helped us beat the crowded tour buses, especially in Oia. Kostas also provided a Greek history and language lesson on the way to our next destinations that enhanced the tour. I strongly recommend him as a guide.
