The place is very nice, the hotel staff is both professional and warm Smiles are everyday An exceptional holiday The whole breakfast team and there are many Aziza Abenbi Abdmazakan without forgetting the delicious pancakes of Khadija and Fattouma In the evening Khalid nordeen and Omar junior will delight your meals. They are so numerous that we cannot mention them all At the Younès and Hosni bar excellent cocktails And it is a paradise for golfers

Our guide, Mr Ahmed, was exceptional, not only in how knowledgeable he was, but how kind and caring he was. Like when we came across a beggar in the market, he turned back to hand him some change. He also introduced us to some cops in civilian clothes at a corner, saying they were the tourist police, there to make sure that we had a great visit in their city. The walled Portuguese city was nice. I was sorry, though, to find out that the cisterns were closed for renovation. Anyhow, Mr Ahmed also showed us the new city, saying, "so you can see how we live today" - the usual market, vendors and such. Then we came across some black Africans selling their wares on a sidewalk. Mr Ahmed joked with one of them as we passed, then told us that Morocco welcomes black Africans and allows them to do things to improve their quality of life. The next minute, once we stepped on a sidewalk which black African women were using as a beauty salon (applying makeup on clients or doing nails), one woman started yelling at Mr Ahmed, stood up and approached him. Then many others joined her, including some men. I couldn’t understand the noisy exchange, but the angry faces and voices told me we were in trouble. My friend and I feared that the yelling crowd that had gathered around us would bodily harm us. Mr Ahmed kept his cool and simply insisted, from what French I could make out, that we were in a public space. In the end, a Moroccan couple pulled him away from the crowd. What was it all about? Well, the beauticians simply didn't want Mr Ahmed to be bringing tourists to 'their' sidewalk! He said he’d report the incident to the cops, and I’m pretty sure he did.
Very pleasant day trip which was well organised throughout. Excellent guide Ahmed was knowledgeable and informative. Learnt a lot about Morocco we didn’t know
Portuguese Cistern (Mazagan) has been closed for over 3 years. Viator listing says you will visit El Jadida top locations. Cistern and fortress wall are the top attractions. No cistern misrepresentation of Listing. Private guide was more interested in taking us to HIS shops then doing a full tour. Showed us 1 of the 4 turret battlements. Talked about the 3 type of cannons and the 4 churches. Then a very short walk in the neighborhood. Whole GUIDED tour lasted 45 minutes with a bathroom break. After finishing being taken to the 4 shops of the guide. My family and I were very disappointed and just wanted to go back to Casablanca. We could have taken the train and done a more informative guide on our own. Viator needs to verify that the listing are accurate
This day trip is a great option for those looking to spend some additional time in Casablanca before leaving the city. El Jadida was a really beautiful sight to see and our tour guide was fantastic! The views were amazing and the history behind the town was very interesting to learn about. Our driver was prompt and on time and very helpful. I would recommend this day trip!
