Escursione di un giorno a Kunjapuri a Rishikesh - Kunjapuri è un tempio indù dedicato alla dea Kunjadevi, una divinità locale che ha un alto rispetto da parte della popolazione locale. Il tempio si trova a circa 25 km di auto dalla città di Rishikesh ed è facilmente raggiungibile anche su strada. Farai un trekking in discesa di 9 km dal tempio Kunjapuri a Rishikesh. Lungo il percorso visitando la gente locale e i villaggi e finiscila con una meravigliosa cascata. Dalla cima della collina in cui è costruito il tempio si ottiene una vista panoramica sul fiume Gange, Rishikesh e la gamma dell'Himalaya indiano con diverse cime prominenti come Bandarpunch, Swarga Rohini, picco Gangotri e Chaukhamba e molti altri. Il momento migliore per vedere le magnifiche vedute della natura sorgere e tramontare del sole.

Itinerario
Verremo a prendervi dall'hotel Rishikesh e 1 ora di auto al Tempio di Kunjapuri via Narender Nagar. Ammira l'alba mozzafiato e le cime innevate himalayane. Dopo aver visitato il tempio, inizieremo il trekking di 9 Km a Rishikesh in rotta visitando i villaggi locali e la cascata di Neer. Dalla cascata, la nostra auto ti verrà a prendere e ti lascerà all'hotel Rishikesh.
Finiremo il trekking alla cascata Neer Gaddu. Il turista può nuotare lì dopo aver terminato l'escursione.

My daughter and I had a wonderful trip with Alok! He was on time and handled everything from pick up at our hotel to drop off again at the end of the day. His knowledge of the customs and traditions at Kunjapuri Mandir and also of the communities and plants along the way down to Neer waterfall was invaluable. Our love for roadside chai and “Maggie” started with him. He was kind, thoughtful, respectful and very helpful when my knees gave out 2/3rds the way down. A most embarrassing situation for me personally, but he only showed me kindness. I really feel he went above and beyond what could ever be expected and recommend him very highly. When we are in Rishikesh again, I’ll definitely request him (although this time I’ll be much better prepared). Dhanyavad Alok!

This tour was inspiring, enjoyable and restorative - even in the rain ... and partly because of it. Sure, we'd hoped for sunrise and a hike, BUT then we would have missed the truly GORGOUS VIEWS of soft clouds calmly snuggling in with and caressing the colorful mountains – a very meditative and inspiring sight! We appreciate our guide, Sachin, who thought well about us and the weather as we made the joint decision not to hike down in the slippery mud and rain. Could have tried again the next day, but we were off to other adventures after recharging our batteries at Kunjapuri Temple. Our tour was precious and awesome in its own way, and we are grateful for the experience, guide, driver and tour company. We’d choose them again in a heartbeat!

I contacted Sachin from INDIA TREKKING AND TOURS to arrange Trip for my family to Kunjapuri temple to Neer waterfall trek . I found them Via tripadvisor and I have short listed them because most of the reviews seem genuine and generally positive. With help of India trekking tours our tour went very well and got successfully completed. We highly recommend this company for any trip and trek in India.

Great experience! Sunrise at the temple with a view of the Himalayas. Trek of approximately 2.5/3 hours to reach the waterfalls (mainly descent via various paths). Swimming possible (the guide found a small cabin for us to change in complete discretion). The guide is punctual, friendly, ... and helps us on the more complicated trails. It gives us plenty of time to contemplate the sumptuous landscapes. It was wonderful ! I highly recommend this experience.
