La nostra prima tappa nella parte storica del centro città del nostro tour. Qui riconosciamo uno dei più noti liberatori del Perù, Jose de San Martin.
Conosciuto anche come il monastero di San Francesco in inglese, la chiesa e il convento sono stati aggiunti alla lista del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO nel 1991. Il sito contiene una biblioteca di fama mondiale con circa 25.000 testi antichi e nelle catacombe sotto di essa si stima che questo stesso il numero di persone è stato sepolto. Oggi puoi esplorare i passaggi una volta nascosti e osservare i resti unici esposti dei primi Limeños.
Qui passeremo alcuni minuti nel cuore di Lima. La Plaza de Armas ospita il Palazzo Presidenziale, il Palazzo dell'Arcivescovado, la Cattedrale e gli edifici comunali e può spesso essere un luogo vivace pieno di persone e varie forme di intrattenimento.
Costruito sulla cima di una piramide del settimo secolo, questo palazzo vice reale è un luogo da vedere con i suoi meravigliosi giardini; ti troverai a scattare foto dei motivi tanto quanto le reliquie all'interno. La parte del tour consiste in una storia avvincente, un negozio di oggetti antichi di 45.000 pezzi e una collezione erotica intrigante (questa sala può essere lasciata fuori se si viaggia con i bambini più piccoli). Successivamente avremo il tempo di gustare un delizioso pranzo circondato da giardini colorati sul patio esterno del caffè del museo.
Una breve sosta per osservare la più famosa piramide solida di Lima usata come sito cerimoniale per la cultura di Lima negli anni tra il 200 e il 700 d.C. Un tour completo del sito non è preso, solo osservato dall'esterno.
Un parco artistico situato sulle scogliere sul mare di Miraflores. Osserva gli alianti che veleggiano sopra la testa e le giovani coppie locali che passeggiano lungo i sentieri dedicati agli innamorati ovunque. Un ottimo posto per scattare una foto veloce di te e una persona cara!
Scopri il lato più moderno di Lima con le sue viste sull'oceano e gli splendidi parchi. Inclusi in questa parte del tour sono le fermate di Huaca Pucllana e Parque de Amor (Love Park.)
Seduti a circa 251 metri sul livello del mare, si avrà una splendida vista della costa del Pacifico, Chorrillos Bay e le città Shanty sottostanti. Spesso trascurato in altri tour, questo può essere il momento clou della nostra!

We booked this tour for a long layover in Lima and it exceeded our expectations! Our guide Edgar was not only very knowledgeable, he made the tour fun. George, our driver, added to the fun while safely navigating the traffic and avoiding jams. Among our favorite sites were the church and catacombs, the Museo Larco (beautiful grounds and excellent food), and “lovers park” with its Gaudi-inspired wall. We highly recommend this tour.

This tour was a perfect way to spend a long layover in Lima. We were picked up at the airport by our guide Edgar and driver George. Edgar answered all our many questions, providing insightful and fun facts about the city and the sites. Highlights for us were the Basilica and Convent of San Francisco with its catacombs and the Museo Larco, where we had a delicious lunch. George was both a friendly and great driver, safely navigating the traffic and avoiding jams. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has a day to spend in Lima.
