A brilliant day with Minios at the helm. We had the private all day option and had an action packed day, swimming, paddle boarding and snorkelling at one beach on Kefalonia and two beaches on the other side of Ithica. In between, we had a lovely lunch and tasty snacks; with Mythos and wine as we wanted it. The day ended sailing across from Ithica into Agia Effimia, just brilliant!
From the moment we met Menios we felt safe and comfortable with him. We felt so relaxed with him and most importantly, we just really liked him! He catered to us with consistent smiles, chats and generosity, offering us drinks and answering all of our questions. The food he prepared for us was some of the best we had on the island all holiday and we were so thrilled with the opportunities for snorkeling, paddleboarding, and the incredible and capable sailing! Really just all of it! Thanks captain menios! We really had the best day.
We booked a private tour from Agia Efimia to Ithaki for just the two of us and it turned out to be an amazing day. Lily the boat is lovely and we were looked after very well by Menios and Katerina. The trip across to Ithaki took about an hour and a half and was so peaceful sitting up front and just enjoying the views. We were served some lovely snacks on the way over and plenty of choices of liquid refreshments if we wanted. Our first stop was near a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters. We did a bit of snorkelling and attempted paddle boarding! Then we moved to another little area where we docked up on a little jetty and did some more snorkelling and a little bit of walking on land. We were offered the option to eat lunch there or on the boat on the trip back. We decided to eat onboard on the way back with it just being the two of us. We were asked the night before if we'd like chicken, lamb or vegetable and we chose chicken. We were served a chicken kleftiko which was delicious along with greek salad, tzaziki and bread. It was all so lovely. It was just such a peaceful way to spend the day out on the water and a huge thank you to Menios and Katerina :)
What a fabulous day out! This was a birthday treat. We went with friends and had an amazing day out. Other reviews are accurate, great food, great company and a fun day had by all. Highly recommended
