Very good attention to every detail. Excellent explanation and appropriate timing for each activity on the tour. I had two children aged 10 and 11, and they had a great time; they learned and did not get tired of the tour.

Our tour guide was Jenny, and she was The Best! She knew how to keep adults AND teens enjoying the tour, and was kind and warm. She knew her history and was a great story teller AND driver. It’s a great tour when you just want to hit the Boston highlights. I highly recommend!

We often book private day trips because they maximize flexibility. In this case rain and walking endurance required some changes but it all worked out to provide a good overview of Salem and an intro to the freedom trail in Boston.

Jenny was absolutely amazing. My mom has a hard time walking and Jenny pretty much turned Salem into a driving tour for her. Making sure she didn’t miss any of the stops or stories. When we told her of the things we’ve already seen in Boston or the other tour we were doing she rearranged the Boston portion with stops she knew we wouldn’t have gotten to see. This was an incredible tour for us and Jenny was just remarkable.

Jenny was extremely knowledgeable and just a really friendly and pleasant person. We were very lucky to have her as a guide, from not only her knowledge of historical facts but suggestions for things to do and see. It really felt like a friend taking us around the sites and she was able to drive to an area (Cambridge) that my daughter requested. Best shore excursion of a bucket list item to visit Salem! Maria was exceptional and very knowledgeable at guiding us via a walking tour of Salem and of all of the planned places we wanted to visit and more. (Bewitched, Salem witch trials /memorials, cemetery , Hocus-pocus sites) Also time for a little shopping, pick up and drop off at cruise port was perfect and on time! We also had time to drive by sites in Boston for quick pictures. hey, another booking with Boston Hidden Gems Maria in the future! Highly recommended and appreciated how fun , friendly and on time Maria was with our tour.

Terrific day in Salem learning of the history of the town as well as the witch trials with detailed, in depth information. Our guide, Jenny, was engaging, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. We could modify to suit our preferences throughout the day since it was a private tour (husband had difficulty walking as the day progressed, so Jenny accommodated the itinerary to make him comfortable). Great communication from the tour company from the time we booked months ago through the day of. Very convenient pick up and drop off at the cruise port. Would definitely book with them again.
