La cattedrale di Toledo è una delle tre cattedrali gotiche del XIII secolo in Spagna ed è considerata, secondo alcune autorità, l'opera magnum dello stile gotico in Spagna. Questa costruzione mudéjar fu costruita nel 1180. Ha cinque navate separate da pilastri che sostengono archi a ferro di cavallo. Toledo fu scelta come sito per la costruzione del monastero a causa della sua posizione geografica centrale e perché era stata la capitale dell'antico regno visigoto, simbolicamente ricostituito da Isabella e Ferdinando con il ripristino dell'unità perduta della Spagna, attraverso l'unione di Castiglia con Aragon.

We hadva wonderful experience with Arantxa. She was wonderful! Toledo was great but I (as an engineer) thought Segovia and the Roman Aquaduct was over the top Arantxa picked us up at our hotel and right from the start she made us feel welcome just as if our sister aas giving ud the tour. Alqays quivk witj a smole and grest info she was as impresivecas the sights. If you get the chance to requedt her....just do it. A long but awesome day!
