A Sintra ci sono diversi monumenti nazionali, tra cui palazzi unici, antiche rovine e case sontuose sparse sulle colline della regione, percorsi interessanti per i pedoni. Conoscere il suo centro storico, in particolare Pastelaria Piriquita (una delle attrazioni di Sintra), con i famosi dolci tipici Travesseiros, che ci fanno sognare, soprattutto nei giorni più freddi tipici del microclima di Sintra
Possibilità di visitare il Palazzo Nazionale di Sintra, situato nel centro storico del paese, abitato per quasi otto secoli dai monarchi portoghesi e dalla corte. Fu molto utilizzato, soprattutto durante il medioevo, come appoggio durante i periodi di caccia, o durante i mesi estivi, per il clima più mite del paese.
Cabo de Roca è il punto più occidentale del continente europeo, dove finisce la Terra e comincia il mare, come scrisse Luís de Camões (in Os Lusíadas, Canto VIII), il Faro, alto 165 metri, risale al 1772, qui possiamo vedere l'immensità dell'Oceano Atlantico, rivelando uno dei luoghi più emblematici del Portogallo.
Il nome "Boca do Inferno" attribuito a questo luogo è dovuto all'analogia morfologica e all'impatto tremendo e spaventoso delle onde lì.
Tempo libero per esplorare Cascais con un'ampia spiaggia e strade molto pittoresche che rendono la città un luogo molto visitato dai turisti, un misto di un villaggio di pescatori con un luogo di lusso con molti ristoranti che servono pesce fresco e frutti di mare. Tra la baia e le montagne di Sintra, nel XIX secolo Cascais era il luogo scelto dalla famiglia reale per le vacanze, che finirono per prendere la nobiltà, nel centro storico, ci sono molti negozi e ristoranti.
Il ritorno a Lisbona avverrà lungo le spiagge della linea, con vista panoramica su Estoril, famosa per il suo Casinò (la sala da gioco più grande d'Europa) e per il fatto che l'autore Yan Fleming scrisse il primo romanzo di 007, “Casino Royale ”, durante la seconda guerra mondiale qui. Torneremo a Lisbona lungo la strada "Marginal", godendo di una vista mozzafiato sull'oceano.

Vitor made everything easy and enjoyable. He treated us like family- telling great stories and showing us the beautiful places that are off the beaten path. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and can’t wait to come back for more adventures with him.
Fantastic experience with Vitor. From the start , communication was prompt , efficient and so easy. Vitor always arrived on time for pick ups at hotel doorstep = couldn't have been easier. Itinerary was flexible,Vitor always had good suggestions but obliged us, if we had our own. Vitor had a wealth of knowledge about the history of the areas we visited. Vitor is the absolute best! We had such a great experience exploring Sintra, Azenhas do Mar, Cabo da Roca, & Cascais. He gave us the best tips to beat the crowds in the palaces, amazing lunch suggestion, and is incredibly knowledgeable of the area! You can't go wrong with a tour with Vitor! We would definitely use him again, and in fact, we will be doing a transfer with him from Lisbon to Porto! Can't wait!

A friend recommended Vitór of Portugal expert for our day in Sintra & Cascais & we were so glad she did! Before we even went to Portugal, he helped us put together our day & get tix online for the palace, Quinta de Regaleira. Our day started with Vitor picking us up at our Lisbon hotel. His luxury car was comfortable & we were in good hands. We really enjoyed talking with Vitor & learning about an array of subjects. We loved the Quinta & all its gardens. Sintra was busy but Vitor told us what to see & eat. We went out to the coast & walked along the beach. Our lunch had a beautiful view & had our favorite grilled fish with clams. What a lovely day. Vitor did all the work but he was so laid back. We highly recommend him!

This was so fantastic. Vitor picked us up at our hotel in a very nice Mercedes van and it was incredibly comfortable. Vitor's knowledge of everything made the trip so interesting and wonderful. He has a lovely demeanor and was very easy going, giving us lots of flexibility at each stop and even extending the trip 40 minutes to allow us more time. I would recommend Vitor to ANYONE visiting Portugal for an incredible experience.

Thank you Vitor for a lovely private tour. I don't think we would have had a great experience if we went with those huge tour buses. Thank you for being prompt and picking us up from our hotel. Your SUV was roomy and clean. The itinerary was at a perfect pace. Eventhough we went over an hour on the tour you still insist we take our time. It was great to visit each site at our pace.

Vitor is an excellent private tour guide! We had 3 separate full day tours around the sights in Lisbon, Fatima and surrounding areas, and Sintra. Vitor has a great sense of humor and is a wealth of information about the entire country, AND its history! He explained in detail about the important facts of each location and he was VERY accommodating as far as how much time spent in each area. Vitor’s recommendations for restaurants for lunch were excellent for Authentic Portugese food and drink! We NEVER felt rushed and enjoyed every minute! He does tours well outside of the Lisbon area, including the Algarve and Northern locations, including Porto. As an older couple, we didn’t want to have a group tour, and he was always able to park near all sites! Very important, since we have some mobility issues. Vitor surprised us with a special, meaningful gift each day. How thoughtful. We highly recommend the Portugal Expert Turismo!
