Itinerario

Nice half day tour going around Delhi with Habib and Ankit. We got to see the tomb and visited the Lotus Temple in the late afternoon. The ride was comfortable and we got to see a lot of things before they dropped me back off.
We had a very good time with Vivek visiting Old and New Delhi. A great introduction to the city visiting its main landmarks. I recommend this tour.

I returned in India after 17 years to visit Ladakh but I spent also one day in Delhi before my flight home. I was lucky to book this full day tour and to be the guest of my excellent guide, Sunil Poddar and one of the best drivers, Naval. The tour was excellent organized even I booked it later in the evening one day beforr, Mr Sunil experience in tourism is a great one, I appreciated aldo his courtesy, the baggage of information and I must mention also that he is a very good photographer. In fact I had a perfect team - information, sense of humour, hospitality and the day was a wonderful one. I'd like to return to visit with a small group of friends the South India so I'll be keep in touch with these two guys which became my friends. I can't mrntion the excellent lunch and the shopping after. Thank you so much, Sunil and Naval for a perfect last day in India, hope to be your guest soon. I strongly recommend this tour and this team.

We used Pioneer Travels for a guided day trip that included the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Sisganj Gurudwara, Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Lotus Temple and Presidential Buildings. The tour included the vehicle, driver and tour guide. Having a driver who was familiar with the itinerary and sights was quite helpful to cover a fair bit of sightseeing in a day (although the metro is also a good option). However, I am not sure that the tour guide added any value to the trip. In the first instance, he was quite a bit late to meet us. Secondly, despite having clearly explained to him that we did not want to lunch in a “tourist trap” and having declined his suggestions, we ultimately ended up having lunch in exactly that. The tour guide initially explained that no other restaurants were en route, despite the reputable restaurant “Karim’s” being a 5-minute drive from the chosen lunch spot. After some prodding, he explained that the tour company did not allow him to take its clients to any other restaurants. More generally speaking, the tour guide seemed to offer neither valuable or insightful information of the sights (explanations became increasingly limited towards the end of the day) and during a part of the voyage was watching music videos on his mobile. At the end of the day, we requested a short shopping trip, to which the tour guide explained that “Delhi Haat” (unlikely close in name to the charming “Dilli Haat”), which was a hard sell tourist boutique. I would suggest using a different tour company (or visiting the sights on your own) where the tour guide can add something to your sightseeing.
Thank you very much for your feedback. We are extremely sorry from the bottom of our heart and we will make sure it won't happen again with our future customers. We wish to see you again with us.
Our driver was super punctual and took us to Humayun's tomb, where we waited a little for our guide Raj. Traffic jam is just inevitable in Delhi, but the guide was very nice and spoke good English. He was well informed and always helpful to answer questions. We didn't book the all-inclusive tour, but it was perfectly fine. Having enough cash is a good idea, even though many things such as the India Gate are for free. All in all definitely recommendable!
Thank you very much for such a lovely feedback. We wish to see you again with us .
Overall the tour was very good and our guide Vikas was extremely informative and had excellent English. He gave us enough time to explore on our own. The highlight was a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk where we were immersed in the smells, sights and chaos of the centre of Old Delhi. A short walk later we were in the heart of the spice markets - an experience we’ll never forget. Other places we saw were Rajghat, Jama Masjid and India Gate. Note of warning Red Fort and Lotus Temple are closed on Mondays so we didn’t see these from the inside. Lunch was fine. Only let downs were the driver being an hour late to pick us up due to traffic - but you expect that in India. Plus, we had the seemingly obligatory stop at a rug shop to see if we’d buy something. We suggest saying no to that. Overall, however, it was decent value for money and a really useful snapshot of some of Delhi’s highlights.
Thank you very much for such a lovely feedback. We wish to see you again with us .
