Se hai solo un giorno libero, il nostro tour rapido di un giorno in Cappadocia è l'opzione migliore per te, poiché include visite a due delle attrazioni più famose della regione: il Museo all'aperto di Göreme e la città sotterranea di Derinkuyu. Il panorama di Uçhisar offre ampie vedute della valle sottostante, mentre il villaggio di Çavuşin ospita alcune delle abitazioni rupestri meglio conservate della Cappadocia. Itinerario
Il tour inizia con un viaggio verso Uçhisar Panorama, noto per le sue impressionanti viste sulle valli adornate circostanti e sui camini delle fate della Cappadocia.
Derinkuyu Underground City, una delle città sotterranee più impressionanti del mondo. Questa antica città fu costruita nell'VIII e nel VII secolo a.C. e fu scavata nella roccia vulcanica. È uno spettacolo impressionante vedere come vivevano le persone in questa città sotterranea, completa di pozzi di ventilazione, pozzi e cucine.
Il villaggio di Çavuşin, che ospita due antiche chiese, la Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista e la Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista. Queste chiese risalgono al V secolo e vantano splendidi affreschi che si sono conservati nel corso dei secoli.
Avanos, un villaggio di produttori di ceramiche dove gli artigiani locali creano a mano splendide ceramiche, utilizzando varie tecniche che sono state tramandate di generazione in generazione. Pranzeremo anche qui.
Paşabağ è la nostra prossima tappa, un'altra regione rinomata per il suo paesaggio unico di strane formazioni rocciose note come camini delle fate a forma di "fungo". Questa zona è anche conosciuta per il suo vino e avremo la possibilità di assaggiare alcune varietà locali.
Infine, visiteremo il Museo all'aperto di Göreme, patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO, che presenta un'impressionante collezione di antiche chiese e monasteri rupestri, ognuno con i suoi affreschi e la sua architettura unici.

Honestly this was a weird tour. I’d say the guide was very informed and gave good information but he kept bringing us to places to get sold things. 1. We got dropped in a jewelry store to get a hard sell on some overpriced jewelry, 2. Next to a store to ‘show us the local food’ but it’s honestly just again someone selling you a bunch of stuff. If you do go skip lunch or at least wait until you go to a place where you can get lunch on your own. They took us to get lunch and the place was wayyy over priced, gross food and they put their food on our check with some weird discounts but it still ended up costing us more then our own food, if they told us up front the arrangement, fine but they didn’t and it was just so shady. We ended up cutting the tour short and skipping Avanos which we were bummed about but I didn’t want to get sold another overpriced thing or schemed again so we decided to go back to our hotel and swim instead. Otherwise the landmarks, the information and the tour itself was great, they just need to stick to that and stop trying to hustle so much, I felt like I was back in Bangkok but at least in Bangkok things were reasonably priced and you knew what you were getting into.
Sadly our driver never arrived so we wasted an hour waiting and our only day in Cappadocia. Booking agent tried to contact supplier with no luck. Maybe a check in your suppliers might be an idea. ☹️

We booked this tour through Marriott and it was phenomenal!! Inci was a great tour guide. Lots of helpful information. She also gave us shortcuts and advice to save some steps in the heat and take some great photos. She was flexible to adjust the itinerary for our desires. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful private guide “Mert” A great driver with comfy aircon van and cool drinks included. Mert guided us thru all the attractions and provided excellent information along the way. Underground city Kaymakli was the highlight also monk valley with all the fairy chimneys. Plenty of small stops also for pottery and silk and wool carpet making. A wonderful day with the family. We took the Rose Valley and Red Vally sunset hiking tour which I believe is the only truly hiking tour of this kind! It was a 3-4 hours going through the valley and truly incredible experience. Our guide Samet is very experienced, attentive, helpful and patient. He also has a great sense of joy and fun! Hiking is challenging at points but never impossible you ended up feeling very confident and accomplished!
