This half day experience was the highlight of our trip to London and Paris. Our tour guide, Polina, picked us up promptly at our hotel. We were able to enjoy a quick espresso at the cafe outside the gardens while learning about Monet’s life then entered the gardens early enough to avoid the crowds and heat. Next, we wondered around the village and visited Monet’s final resting place and capped off the perfect day with a delicious lunch at the local cafe. Having direct one on one access to the history with a private tour guide makes these experiences so much more meaningful, particularly since our tour guide was so knowledgeable. Thank you for a magnificent experience!

Daniel was our tour guide for the day on our day trip to giverny. After several days of dealing with trains and the metro, the private tour appealed as a less hassle option. Daniel and co. made the day extremely easy, which is just what we needed. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of Monet and Impressionism, which brought the experience more to life than if we had made the journey on our own. We’re very glad we chose the private tour option with Daniel as our guide, and would definitely have made the same choice now in retrospect over going it solo.

Our tour guide did not speak English so we received no information and basically paid over $700.00 for a driver.

Dave was just the best. Very knowledgeable and very attuned to our needs and wishes. Very enthusiastic about the subject. And Nikolas' driving was also fantastic. We felt very safe in his hands. Seeing Monet's adopted village first-hand really brought his work to life.

Excited to Go to Giverny. In lobby at 7:45 am for a 8am tour All ready to go. Tour guide no showed and no call …no nothing. Very disappointed! I wouldn’t recommend this tour company.

Driver excellent and got us our skip the line tickets into the Gardens and Monet House. Responsive driver when we were ready to leave. Loved the house and gardens and would recommend visiting. We chose not to use a tour guide but tour on our own.

This is an excellent option if you are traveling with anyone with mobility challenges. We selected the private tour, knowing we would need accommodations for a member of our group and it was the perfect choice. Our guide Mykyta) was kind and patient, proactively finding ways to make the tour more manageable for our friend. His commentary kept the whole group entertained and engaged throughout the tour. When we needed to end the day early due to maxing out mobility capabilities, he and the driver went above and beyond to pick up our friend in an alternative location to our original meeting place. It ended up being the perfect day for us, with everyone enjoying the experience.

Had a brief time in Paris and wanted to see Monet's gardens/house. Looked at several tours, but most were large and required us to travel to a designated meeting location. Booked this tour (Clewel travel) through GetYourGuide as they would pick us up at our hotel and it was a private tour for the 2 of us. We paid the extra for a driver AND a personal tour guide. Ilya, our tour guide, was fantastic. He contacted us through WhatsApp and text the day before and the morning of the tour. He and the driver arrived at our hotel a few minutes before 8am and we hit the road in a Mercedes van. We made a brief rest stop before arriving and were dropped off near the entrance. Ilya was very knowledgeable and discussed history on the drive down. He guided us around the grounds in a direction to catch the fewest crowds early. He continued to give history of Monet and the house and grounds throughout the tour. He was there to take pictures of us and, at the end, gave us good recommendations for lunch. I was glad we opted for the 6.5 hour tour. It gave us about 2 hours on our own to walk around town, see Monet's grave, and get lunch at Restaurant Baudy (which had been a hotel famous for artists in Monet's time). Ilya communicated with us near the end of our time and when finished, picked us up and delivered us to our hotel. It was a great tour and I'm very glad we chose this private option. Yes, it is more expensive than the larger bus tours, but the service to our hotel, personal driver and tour guide and the extra time was worth it for me. Would definitely recommend and would use them again.

Olga was very informative and professional. She had a deep knowledge and infectious enthusiasm. The driver was careful and safely got us to and from the venue.
