Adoro discutere dell'Inghilterra passata e presente con i miei ospiti mentre viaggiamo a Windsor con la mia Mercedes. Possiamo parlare del castello stesso, o di qualsiasi altro aspetto della nostra lunga storia. Oltre a mostrare i tesori esposti, mi piace illustrare ulteriori aspetti della storia del Castello condividendo materiali che ho preparato tramite il mio tablet, le eccellenti audioguide vi condurranno attraverso le State Rooms & St George Chapel dove la guida è vietata. Nella St Georges Chapel incontrerai la meraviglia del più bel capolavoro gotico d'Inghilterra, immergerai l'atmosfera indefinibile che crea uno spazio con così tanta storia, starai sulle tombe di alcuni dei più potenti re d'Inghilterra e renderai omaggio alla regina Elisabetta ll, che è anche sepolta lì. Dopo aver preso il cambio della guardia possiamo vagare lungo la terrazza nord di fronte dove si può vedere Eton college attraverso il Tamigi. Al nostro ritorno alla macchina controlleremo alcuni degli aspetti più affascinanti della città vecchia di Windsor.

Trascorri la giornata vagando per il Castello di Windsor, sede della monarchia inglese per un millennio. All'interno dei suoi possenti merli si erge l'iconica torre rotonda e gli antichi edifici che ospitano alcune delle sale di rappresentanza più belle mai create. Nella St Georges Hall, esamina gli stemmi di centinaia di cavalieri, dai celebrati ai disgraziati. Verrò a prendervi direttamente dai gradini del vostro hotel in Mercedes. Gli orari abituali sono 9.30 per un tour mattutino o mezzogiorno per il pomeriggio. Consiglieremo gli orari dei biglietti e i link per l'acquisto dei biglietti d'ingresso. I trasferimenti aeroportuali sono su accordo ma non inclusi in questo tour. London City è comunque all'interno della zona di pick-up e sono felice di raccogliervi da lì. (spese di parcheggio, di solito £ 8-10 si applicano)

Mark was outstanding - gave us really good insight to what we were going to see on the way as well us descibing the history of what we were looking at.
We had a great guide in Mark! He knew great photo spots and extra bits of info about Windsor. Travel to and from was all taken care of for us from hotel and back
Mark is an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. He greeted us at our hotel in a beautiful Mercedes and our drive to Windsor Castle was most enjoyable. Once we arrived at the castle he led us to the various points of interest and provided expert commentary. Upon the conclusion of our visit to the castle he led us through the charming Windsor High Street back to the car for our return to our hotel. Could not have been better! 🥳🥳🥳
We had a fantastic guided tour that started with our driver/guide Gareth picking us up from our Airbnb. Gareth is extremely professional and personable. The tour of the chapel, state apartments and the grounds was amazing. Gareth was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us at a pace that was sensitive to one of our family member’s mobility challenges. This guided tour was the highlight of our stay in London.
Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful and the private transportation was essential given the crowds. We saw all the highlights and had a nice lunch in town. Only negative was we invited our guide to join us for lunch and he started talking politics with us … ugh .., we travelled to get away from that. Anyway we nodded and ignored him. Otherwise a great day.
Our tour at Windsor Castle could not have been better. Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant and fun to be with. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who has the slightest interest in English history or the royal family.
Gareth our tour driver and guide arrived early and patiently waited for us. Gareth provided excellent information and had an excellent knowledge of all things. He was extremely helpful and very friendly and explained many things on the journey. At the castle he guided us through each section and was able to point out specific. Things we would have missed. He was extremely helpful and patient with my husband who struggled with the walking around the castle. Gareth was very good and waited with us for rest breaks. An absolutely great day out and an excellent tour guide.

Mark was very knowledgeable about Windsor and enjoyable to chat with. He knee all the tricks to make getting there easy, knew how to navigate the crowds and got us home safely. Enjoyable and would recommend.
Great experience with Gareth touring Windsor Castle. He was very knowledgeable and insightful regarding the castle, and took the time to explain everything we inquired about. It was a wonderful experience for me, my wife, and two children, ages 10 & 12.
