Partite per un breve tragitto in auto fino al villaggio di pescatori di Kampong Phluk. Potrete godere di una vista sulla campagna, un tempio buddista e una scuola primaria, e visitare il mercato del villaggio vedrete la vita quotidiana degli abitanti del villaggio. Quindi fai una breve crociera in barca attraverso il villaggio di pescatori e alberi di mangrovie fino al bellissimo Tonle Sap Lake, il secondo lago d'acqua dolce più grande del mondo. Ci fermeremo in una casa galleggiante per vedere il paesaggio circostante. Successivamente, vagherete attraverso il Villaggio per vedere le attività quotidiane degli abitanti del villaggio. Vedrete le case costruite su alti trampoli, i bambini giocano, le persone cucinano e altre attività spontanee. Questa vita tradizionale del villaggio è rimasta in gran parte invariata per secoli. Ti fermerai anche per visitare un mercato locale situato sulla riva del fiume Rolous. Il mercato di Rolous è uno dei mercati importanti dove gli abitanti del villaggio si recano lì al mattino e nel tardo pomeriggio per acquistare verdure fresche, carne, frutta, pesce d'acqua dolce e articoli per la casa. È il più antico mercato Khmer di quella zona e una visita imperdibile per coloro che desiderano sperimentare lo stile di vita locale
Kampong Phlouk è un'ottima destinazione per i turisti che vogliono visitare gli alberi e le foreste di mangrovie allagate e i villaggi galleggianti. Visita il bellissimo Tonle Sap, il lago è il 2° lago d'acqua dolce più grande del mondo. La comunità dipende in gran parte dalla pesca per la sopravvivenza, principalmente dai gamberetti, e trascorre la pesca durante la stagione delle piogge in Cambogia. Molte case ed edifici sono costruiti su palafitte di altezza compresa tra 6 e 9 metri per adattarsi ai cambiamenti del livello dell'acqua tra la stagione umida e quella secca. Durante la stagione secca (novembre-aprile), quando il fiume si assottiglia a causa del ritiro dell'acqua, molti si dedicano all'agricoltura per integrare il proprio reddito. Anche il turismo, iniziato nel villaggio circa 10 anni fa, rappresenta una parte crescente dell'economia locale.

This is a great half day tour! Sim and our driver were fantastic. On time pickup, very professional, and informative. The local marker tour is interesting and the boat ride is a lot of fun. Highly recommend!

The trip was really interesting. As well as the village, we visited a local market and had a boat ride on the lake, visiting a crocodile farm. Our guide told us lots about Cambodia, local life and the importance of the lake to the 1.3 million people who live around it. I would highly recommend this trip.

Excellent tour with Arun as a guide. Extremely informative. Pick up from hotel was smooth and on time, car was great and the stops on the way at local small town markets, a great insight. The stilt village and boat trip exceeded expectations.

We made a late booking just evening before the morning tour. Were very happy to have an available slot. Website booking was easy and confirmation was clear. Pickup from hotel was fussfree and very punctual. Our guide: Mr Sim Sokoan was very patient and thorough. He explained clearly what the half day trip was and the timings to expect. The trip is really value for money. This was one of the most reasonable rates, and we were so surprised that it was a private tour for only 2 of us! The private tour was fantastic. The tour guide speaks fluent english and tells a lot of interesting facts. We could ask him anything about Cambodia. There were no other tourists at the local market. We tasted different types of fruit. In the tuktuk was free cool water. The floated village was very beautifull and it was interesting to walk around the not floated part aswell. Highly recommend.
