Assos è fiancheggiata da graziose case colorate, una piccola piazza ombreggiata e i resti del castello veneziano del XV secolo sulla collina sopra il paese che la rende una scelta popolare per i visitatori. C'è anche una piccola spiaggia di ciottoli che offre acque limpide e una vista mozzafiato sulla baia. Foki Beach è una piccola e pittoresca baia di ciottoli vicino a Fiskardo, rinomata per le sue acque cristalline, l'atmosfera calma e i fitti ulivi e pini che forniscono ombra naturale. È molto popolare per nuotare in famiglia ed esplorare le vicine grotte marine, spesso caratterizzate da barche ancorate. Fiskardo è l'unico borgo rimasto intatto dal terremoto del 1953 e dove sono ancora visibili gli edifici originali in stile veneziano. Questo è ora diventato popolare tra i ricchi e famosi e il porto è fiancheggiato da yacht di lusso tra le tradizionali barche da pesca. Dopo aver lasciato Fiskardo faremo un piacevole viaggio di ritorno lungo la costa, fermandoci per una foto opportunità sopra la splendida spiaggia di Myrtos.

Esplora la magica Grotta di Melissani con un giro panoramico in barca
Viaggiando su un minivan privato lungo la costa occidentale, la nostra prima tappa della giornata sarà al villaggio appartato di Assos. Assos è fiancheggiata da graziose case colorate, una piccola piazza ombreggiata e i resti del castello veneziano del XV secolo sulla collina sopra il paese che la rende una scelta popolare per i visitatori. C'è anche una piccola spiaggia di ciottoli che offre acque limpide e una vista mozzafiato sulla baia. Una sosta di 45 minuti permetterà di prendere un caffè e di esplorare il villaggio.
Foki Beach (o Phoki) è una piccola e pittoresca baia di ciottoli vicino Fiskardo nel nord di Cefalonia, rinomata per le sue acque cristalline e verde intenso, l'atmosfera calma e i fitti ulivi e pini che forniscono ombra naturale. È molto popolare per nuotare in famiglia, fare snorkeling ed esplorare le vicine grotte marine, spesso caratterizzate da barche ancorate.

Dopo aver lasciato Fiskardo faremo un piacevole viaggio di ritorno lungo la costa, fermandoci per una foto opportunità sopra la splendida spiaggia di Myrtos. Myrtos è stata descritta come "una delle spiagge più drammatiche della Grecia", con il suo "arco lungo un chilometro e mezzo di ciottoli bianchi abbaglianti.] È stato utilizzato come location per l'episodio dell'esplosione della miniera nel film Il mandolino del capitano Corelli

It was the best trip I have ever had, the tour guide Chris was amazing and informed us about everything to do with kefalonia Greece and showed us an amazing views and had amazing cave and pact is amazing Greek picnic. Thank you Chris for making the trip so amazing and special.
What a day. The day started with being picked up at the hotel by Chris. We were then driven to a viewpoint overlooking Argostolli, then myrtos beach. Chris told us about the history of the island throughout our journey, he is so knowledgeable about the history of Kefalonia. We then headed to Assos, again stopping at viewpoints along the way to show us the area from above, before heading to Assos, a beautiful village. We stopped in Assos for a while, and Chris had kindly brought a picnic and local wine for our stop, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We then went to Fiscardo, and was able to wander around at our leisure. We were then taken to Emplisi beach where we had a swim stop for an hour. Finally finishing our tour at the famous Mellasini lake, which was breathtaking, taking a small boat tour of the lake, before sadly heading back to our hotel. We had a fabulous day, and Chris is a great asset to the company, we wouldn't hesitate to book for a further trip. Next trip is to Argostolli for an evening cruise and shopping/explore, which we are looking forward to.

We had a fantastic day seeing some of this beautiful island in comfort. Our guide Chris was superb. He was incredibly knowledgeable and funny. Chris actually made the day so much better with all the things he shared with us. The little touch with the picnic was brilliant. Asos village was superb as were the views over myrtos beach. The highlight for me though was the caves. So much history. Overall a great day and I would recommend.

I had the best day yesterday visiting Assos and Fiskardo with Chris. His knowledge of the island is incredible, and he made the trip both enjoyable and personalised to my interests. Chris even prepared a picnic for us to enjoy in Assos, complete with traditional Kefalonian cheeses, sausage, fresh bread, and drinks. It was a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Kefalonia, and I hope you’re lucky enough to have Chris as your guide!

Best trip ever! It was the most incredible day of our holiday! We could not have asked for a better guide than Chris, he made the day awesome! It was like being on a day out with a close family friend. It was a trip that could not be beaten and has set the bar extremely high for other trips. Had the most fantastic day exploring Kefalonia would highly recommend. Yano and Melanie were exceptional guides, wonderful knowledge of the area and even adapted the tour so we could enjoy a more tailored experience. They looked after so well throughout the day and I would happily book again. I would give 10 stars if I could. Had an amazing day out with our driver/guide Chris. The minibus was spotless and very comfortable, Chris was an excellent driver, very knowledgeable. He pointed out places of interest and stopped anytime we wished to take photos, he even brought a delicious picnic for us all. Well worth going on this trip.
