Le Montagne di marmo sono un gruppo di cinque colline fatte di calcare e marmo a Da Nang. È anche un noto luogo di pellegrinaggio con cime, grotte, tunnel e templi che aspettano solo di essere scoperti. Prende il nome dagli elementi in metallo, legno, acqua, fuoco e terra, Marble Mountains esiste in una zona costiera rinomata per il taglio di pietre e la scultura a circa 9 km a sud di Da Nang.
Hội An è una città sulla costa centrale del Vietnam conosciuta per la sua antica città ben conservata, attraversata da canali. Well it was cloudy and looked like rain as we left the ship and met our tour guide, David, in DaNang. Then on to Hoi An. Our first stop was the beach where the locals were separating their catch of the day. Then we went to a family owed marble shop where we saw an array of beautiful items in various sizes and watched a skilled craftsman work on a piece of marble. So cool! Then walked to the Marble Mountain. It was so Beautiful. David is such a knowledgeable young man and was able to tell us so much about VietNam and his family. Priceless! We then went to the silk factory. Talk about awesome. We watched the baby silkworms feed on the mulberry plant and then the next stage where the silkworms are much bigger and then finally when they make their cocoon. After several days, the silk ‘threads’ are pulled and spun and ready to be woven into silk material. We were so into the processedd, we didn’t take picturesres. Really fascinating. Watched the girls make the embroidered art which takes anywhere from 3-6 months for one ‘picture’. Simply beautiful . Got to see the silk material, scarves, shirts, etc.. then we saw the beautiful handmade lanterns, enameled wares. So beautiful. Off to a very nice restaurant for lunch . The sun came out and since our restaurant was high up the breeze was lovely. Walked around the town and went to their market. Cool and colorful displays of food ! Got to see China Brach. Back to the ship after a long day! Great tour and our excellent tour guide. Thank you David!!

David Nguyen was a spectacular tour guide. He tailor made(no pun intended) our tour to what we wanted to experience We traveled to an oyster farm for some delicious oysters then on to Marble mountain which was stunning. The highlight was going to Hoi An a vibrant bustling town known for colorful lanterns throughout and the many tailors for custom clothes. We could stayed there for a few days easily. David also took the time to arrange a tour of the Ha Long Bay the next day which was absolutely stunning we had so much fun. Thank you David!

We experienced four unique shore excursions with this company. Each port was special and we had an incredible time. We had 8 adults and 1 baby. They made private transportation that was great and did everything we asked. Top notch!
