Questo tour ti porta da Dubrovnik a Spalato con una sosta a Ston. Stagno era la seconda città più importante, dopo Dubrovnik, della Repubblica di Dubrovnik. Ston ha mura, costruite tra il XIV e il XV secolo, che si estendono per oltre 5 chilometri di lunghezza. Le mura erano fortificate da quaranta torri e bastioni. A Ston si trovano anche le grandi saline naturali alla base del canale di Ston, dove da secoli si produce il sale marino, un prezioso prodotto monopolistico della Repubblica di Dubrovnik. La storia di Spalato risale a 17 secoli fa, quando l'imperatore romano Diocleziano decise di costruire il suo palazzo proprio sulla penisola vicino alla grande città romana Salona, dove voleva trascorrere gli ultimi anni della sua vita. Nel corso di questi 1700 anni, il Palazzo si trasformò lentamente in una città, che ancora oggi attira con la sua ricca tradizione, la gloriosa storia e la bellezza del suo patrimonio naturale e culturale. Anche Spalato è patrimonio mondiale dell’UNESCO dal 1979.

A Ston faremo un tour a piedi e poi tempo libero per un caffè, colazione o shopping.
Una volta arrivati a Spalato ti mostrerò il Palazzo di Diocleziano e la famosa Riva di Spalato. Una volta terminato il nostro tour storico a piedi, avrai abbastanza tempo libero per pranzo, relax o shopping.

We had an amazing transfer from Dubrovnik to Split. Stipe was on time, kind, and professional. The drive was comfortable thanks to the luxurious car, and we took pictures at a number of picturesque locations. An excellent mode of transportation between the two cities.

We booked this tour because we needed to go from Dubrovnik to Split and it was a perfect pick for us.Our guide stopped in Ston and showed us Ston and also we stopped in a little winery on the way and the red wine was amazing
