L'Arco di Adriano, più comunemente conosciuto in greco come Porta di Adriano, è una porta monumentale che ricorda un arco di trionfo romano. Si estendeva su un'antica strada dal centro di Atene, in Grecia, al complesso di strutture sul lato orientale della città che comprendeva il Tempio di Zeus Olimpio.

L'edificio è stato progettato da Theophil Hansen. La Biblioteca Nazionale della Grecia è situata vicino al centro della città di Atene. È stato progettato dall'architetto danese Theophil Freiherr von Hansen, come parte della sua famosa trilogia di edifici neoclassici tra cui l'Accademia di Atene e l'edificio originale dell'Università di Atene. È stata fondata da Ioannis Kapodistrias.

3 hour tour all to myself. Driver (Chris?) was experienced driver (commercial trucks) and well versed in Greek mythology, which plays a huge role in Athens history. Glad I didn't have to pass a test afterward. Acropolis, temple of Olympian Zeus, Mount Lycabettus, changing of Presidential Palace guard, Panathenaic Stadium, Syntagma Square and more. Enjoyed the guide thoroughly. We had a great time!

WE BOOKED THIS TOUR THROUGH GET YOUR GUIDE, AND THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS EASY. PANOS WAS OUR GUIDE, HE WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND TOOK US TO THE BEST VANTAGE POINTS TO LOOK AT THE MAIN ATTRACTIONS IN ATHENS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR, WE WERE PICKED UP AT THE PORT AND SPENT 3.5 HOURS TOURING ATHENS, ENDING UP AT PIRAUS MARINA FOR LUNCH, THE CAR USED WAS CLEAN AND THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS EXCELLENT. had just a 3-hour layover in Athens and wanted to make the most of it—this private driver tour was the perfect solution. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. Our driver Alex was waiting for us at arrivals with a clear sign, and he immediately made us feel welcome. The vehicle was clean, spacious, and air-conditioned—ideal for the summer heat. What really stood out was the driver’s deep knowledge of the city and ability to tailor the route based on our tight schedule and interests. In just under three hours, we managed to see the Acropolis Museum, Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Syntagma Square, and the Old Olympic Stadium. Alex also took us to an amazing lookout where we could admire the whole city. If you have a short layover in Athens, this tour is a fantastic way to experience the city's highlights without worrying about logistics. Efficient, informative, and thoroughly enjoyable!

We had approximately seven hours between disembarking our cruise ship and flying out of Athens. This three hour driving tour was the smartest choice we could’ve made! We were picked up from the cruise port, our luggage was stowed safely in the van and were driven to all the highlights of Athens and given time to walk around. Since it was a private tour, we could spend as much as little time at each destination as we wanted. At the end of our time we were dropped off at the airport. Our driver, Panos, really knew the area and all the best places to take us. He was very kind and patiently answered our questions. I would 100% recommend this tour, especially if you’re in some sort of layover situation and have limited time to see the city. This is a very efficient way!
