Tra Treasure Beach e Black River sarete condotti da un peschereccio a un bar in legno rustico costruito su un banco di sabbia a un quarto di miglio dal mare. Il bar Pelican è il luogo ideale per prendere il sole, bere birra, nuotare e mangiare pesce fritto fresco. Il bar Pelican iniziò quando il pescatore locale Floyd Forbes sognava un bar costruito sul mare, appoggiato su palafitte. Grandi assi di legno venivano trasportati sulla sua barca da pesca. Nel 2001 il bar fu completato e fu chiamato "The Pelican Bar" dopo i grandi stormi di pellicani che riposavano sul banco di sabbia. Presto divenne popolare tra la gente del posto e i turisti come un luogo di perfetta serenità. Guarda il bellissimo tramonto (tempo permettendo) e le immersioni sulla scogliera e ascolta la Reggae Band. Un posto perfetto per sedersi, rilassarsi con un cocktail in mano. La gita in barca è tra 30-45 minuti ma vale il viaggio.

Nice bar, however be aware of a man taking your pics 3 for $20 says he will email them to you, but you won't get them! Didn't get long on there, drinks are expensive, photographer scam

We love to get off the resort and explore and that we did! Hands down, amazing experience. Our driver Kevin was early to pick us up. We let him know right off the bat that we are super chill people. My friend and I ended up having a FANTASTIC day with Kevin. He was informative but also laid back which we appreciate. Loved our time spent at Floyd's and will most definitly be using this company again and requesting Kevin. The company was very accomodating when we needed to reschedule. They were great at communicating. Can't wait to go back. Thanks Kevin! Lisa and Jamie can't wait to visit with you again

My friends and I were so excited for this trip and we were not disappointed. The ride to the country area was about a 1 hours and 45minutes but great views. The only roads that I saw was some small winding roads but the trip was well worth it. I don’t mind driving on those roads because I got to see some parts of Jamaica that I never knew exist. The boat ride to the bar was great because Carlos made sure we were okay the entire time. While at the bar I learnt to play dominos and I just relax. Food was so amazing. Carlos had patience with us and was so understanding. We ended up using this company for the rest of the 8 days remaining on our vacation. Make sure if you book ask for Carlos he is the big man. I recommend doing this tour and with Jamaica Mesmerizing Tours.

My husband and I enjoyed our trip to the countryside. I would recommend doing this tour if you want to see the real jamaica. From small winding roads to animals and local people walking by is just amazing. When we got to the boat it was an interesting boat ride. The bar had a lot of people there and I got to meet Mr. Floyd he is a fun guy. Food was amazing and you can even swim near the bar. The location itself is amazing and I think that is a great asset to the bar. We would go again.

We had been planning this trip for months and we really happy we did it. Our guide Carlos was amazing and made the drive to the countryside interesting. The boat captain was fun and he took care of us.The bar had alot of persons here and Carlos made sure we were comfortable. He stayed with us every step of the way. The food was great and we met Mr. Floyd such a humble soul. We stayed and watched the sunset. Such a beautiful sight. It has been such a great experience and we hope they expand the bar in the furture so that they can accommadate more clients. We would do it again. This summer to be exact!!! See you summer Jamaica!!! Yah Mon!!!

We scheduled our pickup for 9:30 and our driver Carlos was there from 9. We appreciate him coming early for us. Time always matter for us, we don’t like to late so we were out there at 9 waiting too. The trip to the bar had a lot of winding roads but was fun. It is actually great to see the off the beaten path of Jamaica. The location where the bar is fantastic and the only way there is by boat. I do recommend doing this tour and using this company. Sean and Jean

We did this excursion yesterday and we had an excellent evening. If you think chilling at Pelican bar is fun, you need to watch the sunset there. Most beautiful sight. We got to met Floyd the owner such a pleasant man. I would do this again but in the morning where there is less people there. We noticed that a lot of persons came there in the mid afternoon.

After the glowing reviews, I was so excited! I guess we drew the short straw. Never got the drivers name. Never said a word to us until after YS Falls. When we got to the “captain” to take us to Pelican bar he came out in his underwear. Our driver was going to hand us off to this sketchy guy until we basically begged him to not leave us. The car was uncomfortable. The air in the back didn’t work. Our lives flashed in front of our lives more than once. Scariest day of my life. Pelican bar was ok. Ordered food but waited two hours and watched everyone but us get their order. Even checked on it and they said ten more minutes. Finally gave up. Went back to our resort tired, stressed and starving. Definitely NOT worth the money. Stick to whoever is affiliated with your resort.

Based on reviews online we asked for Carlos. He took four of us to YS Falls and Ricks Pelican Bar. It was one of the best days ever. Carlos reads people so well and is a laid back great person to have around. Will definitely be recommending both Carlos and JMT to any Aussies heading to Jamaica. Thanks so much Carlos.
