In questo tour scopriremo la Città Santa di Fátima e le città storiche di Óbidos, Alcobaça e Batalha, sede dei siti Patrimonio dell'Umanità dell'UNESCO Batalha e Monasteri di Alcobaça, e Nazaré. Inizieremo con Fatima e visiteremo il Santuario e la Cappella delle Apparizioni. Incontreremo quindi il Monastero di Batalha in tutto il suo splendore. Dopo Batalha, andremo ad Alcobaça e rimarrai sbalordito dalla pura bellezza del monastero al centro della città, che di per sé ospita una bellissima storia d'amore reale. Con una breve visita, lascerai Alcobaça con un ampio sorriso (ancora più ampio se assaggi i pasticcini!). Questo tour non sarebbe completo senza ammirare il mare. Andremo a Nazaré, il famoso villaggio di pescatori che a volte ha onde di 30 metri (potresti anche essere abbastanza fortunato da vederne una!). Goditi l'atmosfera presente in questa meraviglia di un villaggio! Per finire, visiteremo Óbidos e apprezzeremo le mura storiche che offrono panorami mozzafiato! Siamo sicuri che ti piacerà!

Itinerario
La prima tappa sarà Fátima, il luogo di pellegrinaggio di fama mondiale. Qui imparerai tutto sull'apparizione della "Nostra Signora di Fatima", che apparve a tre bambini pastore nel 1917. È la sede della basilica dove tutti e tre sono sepolti oggi.
Successivamente ci spostiamo a Batalha dove è stato costruito il famoso monastero di Batalha in commemorazione della storica battaglia tra le truppe portoghesi e castigliane nel XIV secolo. È uno degli edifici più belli dell'architettura gotica e della storia portoghese.
La nostra prossima tappa sarà Alcobaça, sede di un altro sito patrimonio dell'UNESCO, il Monastero di Alcobaça. Avvolto intorno a un fiume, il monastero di Alcobaça è considerato uno dei siti più belli del Portogallo. Il monastero è il luogo di sepoltura di Pedro e Inês de Castro. Sentirai tutto sulla loro tragica storia d'amore nel corso della giornata.
Accanto a una spiaggia radiosa, in un'ampia baia, questo villaggio di pescatori è una rinomata località di villeggiatura estiva che ha perso parte del suo carattere originale, dove si possono ancora vedere pescatori con camicie scozzesi e donne con innumerevoli gonne a strati. Qui hai molte scelte opzionali per il pranzo: il New Port Restaurant è assolutamente da assaggiare!
Questo grazioso borgo di case bianche è racchiuso tra mura trecentesche. Quando il re Dinis sposò Isabella d'Aragona nel 1282, Óbidos fu uno dei suoi regali di nozze. Goditi la nostra famosa Ginginja de óbidos e senti l'aria all'interno delle mura medievali!

Our guide was Paulo Viegas. He picked up up from our hotel in Lisbon in a large, clean electric vehicle. Paulo was super knowledgeable about everywhere on our tour and about Portuguese history. He spoke excellent English and was happy to answer all of our questions. He took us to Batalha, Nazare, and Obidos. All of these places were amazing, especially Nazare. We skipped Fatima as it was pilgrim season and seething with people. He gave us as much time as we wanted to explore and had a lot of good tips, especially about places to have lunch in Nazare. The full day tour was well worth the price; we really enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot. The booking process online is smooth; I worked with Andre. Everything he said would happen, happened. We paid in advance with Pay Pal which made me a little nervous having read about tour scammers, but everything was perfect and this company is 100% legit. Paulo communicated with us by What's App which I rarely use, so it's a good idea to have that on your phone. Also, Paulo was a safe and law-abiding driver and the vehicle was clean and new. We appreciated the bottled water. I would highly recommend making the most of your time in Portugal and doing a tour with Swingo.

We requested Ricardo Domingues as our tour guide because we had used him for a prior private tour and, again, he was great. He adjusted the destinations, and time at each, to our requests and preferences. He is polite, reliable, and always on time. And his English is very easy to understand. He even gave us recommendations for other cities on our trip.

If you want an Uber Tour, here it is! Electric vehicle needed charging at the very first stop. Inexperienced tour guide did not prepared well for the trips, with no time management, we ended up needed to skip for 1 destination to Batalha. Told us no big wave to watch, so took us to another place to see bayview from a little mountain. Helped us to look for a nice lunch with a rude waiter and told us it’s the best seafood restaurant (possibly the most expensive) in Nazaré with no Waterview. Óbidos was the best place to visit, unfortunately by the time we arrived, it’s already sunset, walking on the walls during the night. It’s better to just do your homework, rent a car and drive there instead. So disappointing!
