Palaeokastritsa è probabilmente la zona più riconoscibile di Corfù, che offre spiagge uniche, acque turchesi e una vista spettacolare. Palaeokastritsa ha molti ristoranti, bar e negozi. “TO DO LIST” una gita in barca alle grotte (opzionale). Paleokastritsa è senza dubbio il villaggio pittoresco più famoso dell'isola di Corfù, situato a 25 km a nord-ovest della città di Corfù. La parola Paleokastritsa significa letteralmente vecchio piccolo castello, che prende il nome da Angelokastro, un castello bizantino che si erge su una collina sopra il villaggio. Questa località cosmopolita si estende lungo una strada costiera intorno a splendide baie e a un pittoresco porto da cui partono le barche per le escursioni verso le vicine spiagge isolate. Alla fine della strada, subito dopo il porto principale, si trova il Monastero della Vergine Maria che domina il villaggio. Il monastero ospita un'interessante collezione di icone post-bizantine, libri e altri oggetti. Lì scoprirai preziose icone del XV secolo.
La spiaggia sabbiosa di Glyfada è una delle spiagge più famose dell'isola di Corfù. La spiaggia ha fondali bassi, è stata premiata con la Bandiera Blu, è completamente attrezzata e vi è anche la possibilità di praticare sport acquatici. È una splendida spiaggia sabbiosa con numerosi bar, taverne e ristoranti.

Our driver and guide, Hercules was great! We curated exactly what we wanted to do and we were able to do everything. Hercules also brought us to a place to get the best Gyro and the best gelato! Added bonus!
This was the most amazing experience! We were in a nice Mercedes-Benz van with a private driver that catered the tour to our desires. We saw some incredible scenery. He arranged a boat ride with a private driver to take us out to see the beautiful beaches and scenery in the area. He was an amazing tour guide, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the area. I would highly recommend this and would do it again it was so fun.

Our guide, Hercules, was very personable and well-informed. We visited a number of areas all with incredibly beautiful views. He took time for photo stops, took us to an amazing ice cream stop in Lacontes, an olive oil museum with tastings and we finished up with a stop in Corfu where we had authentic Gyros. He was professional, a great driver and a great representative of Corfu.
Had a brilliant day with Alexandra. She was an excellent driver and also gave us a lot of knowledge about the island. The two beaches were beautiful and I would definitely recommend the boat tour . It was great to see some of the beautiful inland villages en route too.

We had a fabulous day in Corfu! Alexandra was a wonderful guide and taught us a lot about the area as she transported us. She gave us the ability to customize our half day tour, which was appreciated. The car was very nice and we were comfortable. This was a great way to maximize our day in Corfu as cruise ship passengers and see two very different beaches. We would have loved to spend more time at the second beach, but we will know for next time.
