Itinerario
Castello di Dunguaire. Costruito dagli O'Flaherty c. 1500, il castello di Aughnanure si trova in un ambiente pittoresco vicino alle rive del Lough Corrib. Situato su quella che è praticamente un'isola rocciosa, il castello è un esempio particolarmente ben conservato di casa torre irlandese.
Situato sull'alto altopiano calcareo di Burren, Poulnabrone Dolmen è uno dei monumenti archeologici più iconici dell'Irlanda ed è il secondo luogo più visitato nel Burren dopo le Cliffs of Moher. È il più antico monumento megalitico datato in Irlanda.

This was an excellent tour and I could not recommend it enough! We had Hugo as our tour guide and he was the best. So knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We had a few stops that we requested to see and Hugo made it all work for us. Don’t hesitate, just book! You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back to see more of Ireland with Hugo!
Our family of six enjoyed the day with Christian. He shared a lot of insights about the area and Ireland. We made stops at places we never would have found on our own. It was especially nice for my husband to get a day off from driving and the kids loved watching the sheep dog demonstration. Even with the rain it was a great day.
This was an AMAZING experience - definitely a highlight of our trip to Ireland. Initially, I wasn't sure about booking a private tour, but this experience was worth every penny and more. We saw SO much in one day - and we were so impressed with our driver and guide (Bogdan). He was knowledgeable, helpful, professional - and really tailored the tour to make sure we got the most out of it. He also was experienced and knew how to make sure we timed things so we weren't in crowds (which was nice) and he gave us such a great history lesson. Plus, he was patient and accommodating with lots of stops and great photos along the way.
Was a pleasure touring the Irish coast with Brogdon. Not only was he timely and courteous, but he is very knowledgeable about Irish history and answered all of our questions! For each of the stops, he built a great story that made the time fly by! Highly recommend this tour and will use them again if/when we return!
Fergus was a wonderful, interesting and gracious private driver/guide that drove us in his very comfortable car from Galway to Killarney. He was very accommodating and advised on our itinerary for the day with great local insights. We felt safe (both on the crazy Irish roads and as women traveling solo) and he was so professional and friendly. 100% recommend.
By far our favorite day in Galway. Booked via GetYourGuide. Fergus was an outstanding guide whose knowledge of the area's history and great local recommendations made the beautiful scenery even more memorable. From the Cliffs of Moher, the sheepdog demonstration, to lunch in Doolin and the scenic stops along the coast and countryside, every part of the tour was fantastic. An experience we’ll always remember and highly recommend to anyone visiting Galway.
The cliffs were fogged in but the countryside was beautiful. Loved the sheepdog demonstration. Driver Bogdan was awesome. Had a great lunch and enjoyed a cave and bird of prey exhibit. Great to have a driver to ourselves and we could stop whenever we wanted.
John was an amazing guide! We were so comfortable with him and fit in so much in just a short time. We were only in Galway area for one day and it was just a perfect way to spend it. He gave us enough time to spend in each place and we hit about 5 or 6 different places and enjoyed. It was misty to see the cliffs well unfortunately but still beautiful from what we could see. Would recommend to all my friends and family. Thanks so much!!
Our family booked both the Cliffs of Moher and Connemara full day trips with Connemara Chauffeurs, and both excursions were easily highpoints of our 12-day stay in Ireland. I can't say enough good things about our guide Christian, who was personable and highly knowledgeable. When he couldn't answer a question (which was rare), he went out of his way to ask somebody who could. Truly felt he went above and beyond to make the tours special. When we booked, we let Sean at Connemara Chauffeurs know that my wife has a severe allergy to airborne shellfish. Sean assured us that they'd have safe dining options for us and the trips could be customized as we needed. Christian was on top of the situation throughout our excursions, which was a tremendous relief. We treasured Christian's and Connemara Chauffer's tremendous hospitality and care. I can think of no better way to discover the Burren and Connemara.
Bogdan was our tour guide and he was absolutely fabulous. He was a wealth of knowledge, kind, funny, easy to talk to, and very hospitable. He took us places we wouldn’t have gone on our own and even made local restaurant recommendations for us. Highly recommend!!
