Il Palazzo d'Estate di Tipu Sultan, a Bangalore, in India, è un esempio di architettura indo-islamica ed era la residenza estiva del sovrano Mysereo Tipu Sultan. Overall the experience was average, The tour was not really a “tour”, the company hired a cab driver to drive me around. He spoke very minimal English -and the first stop he walked me to entrance in the Temple and directed me to the entrance, as I started walking g he must have felt I was anxious called me back and had me pay 400 i r for the “fast track” experience so he ended up going with me, no info or history and he just quickly walked me through. I wasn’t expecting to have to pay for his e trance as well, which wasn’t a big deal at the places we went but at the palace again no “tour guide experience”, just a fast walk through. My hotel offered a car to do this same thing, I thought I was getting a private tour with a guide, not a cab driver. The driver was very nice/polite-just not what I expected!

Bangalore is huge. I was there for a conference and my adult son was with me. I booked him a tour so he could explore and it was great. He said that the tour guide was really knowledgeable, helpful and thoughtful in conversations. Also they had a lot of fun and she took him to places he later wanted to show me. Im wishing that I had had the time to go.
