La foresta delle scimmie di Ubud è una piccola foresta pluviale abitata da un gruppo di scimmie e altri animali tropicali. È strategicamente situato nel cuore del villaggio di Ubud. Le foreste delle scimmie in lingua balinese chiamate Wanara Wana sono sparse nell'isola e la stessa foresta delle scimmie di Ubud ha una funzione molto importante della continuità dell'habitat delle scimmie a Bali. Nel frattempo la comunità locale ha un ruolo importante nel mantenere questa foresta in modo naturale in modo che tutti gli animali selvatici possano vivere senza intoppi. Circa 1.056 scimmie vivono in questo santuario. La foresta sacra delle scimmie Ubud è la famosa attrazione turistica di Ubud.
La terrazza del riso di Ubud Tegalalang è progettata in modo molto bello con uno squisito campo di riso scavato e situata precisamente sulla sponda della collina. Tempio di Tirta Empul Si tratta di un mito descritto in un manoscritto chiamato Usana Bali che dice che un re balinese arrogante di nome Maya Denawa non credeva in Dio e si oppose al popolo ad adorare Dio. Più tardi venne la punizione per il re. Il guerriero di Bhatara Indra arrivò per attaccare Maya Denawa e metterlo via dal trono. Ma Maya Denawa usò armi chimiche causando l'avvelenamento a morte di tutti i guerrieri di Bhatara Indra. Vedendo questo Bhatara Indra, piantò il suo palo sulla terra e fece scaturire l'acqua. Quest'acqua è stata utilizzata per spruzzare i guerrieri morti e sono tornati in vita. Quindi fino ad ora si crede che questa fonte d'acqua sia la fonte della vita e della prosperità. È particolarmente corretto se associamo questa sorgente d'acqua al sistema di irrigazione intorno all'area, poiché offre centinaia di ettari di risaie da Tampaksiring fino alle aree di Pejeng.
Tegenungan è una delle poche cascate di Bali che non si trova sugli altopiani o sulle montagne. Non è proprio così alto, solo circa 15 metri di altezza, quindi puoi effettivamente saltare direttamente nella cascata (solo dopo aver pagato l'assicurazione). La cascata di Tegenungan è unica per i suoi lussureggianti dintorni verdi e il flusso d'acqua intenso, perfetta per nuotare e godersi l'acqua dolce.

We would highly recommend this experience! Juli was an especially amazing driver. He was very knowledgeable and made great conversation. He even added a special stop to a local coffee plantation as soon as he heard that we love coffee! We would recommend this trip and Juli to anyone looking to discover Bali and Ubud from a local!

Wayan was a outstanding tour guide: warm, respectful around the monkeys, and make sure properly organized. The timing at Tegalalang avoided rush-hour crowds, and the smooth transfer to Tegenungan Waterfall let us enjoy the whole afternoon. Highly recommended!

What an incredible day tour with the best guide Wayan! He was very engaging and knowledgeable- a great guide and teacher on balinese culture. We went to two temples, a coffee plantation and the rice terraces- particularly loved the melukat ritual (bring a towel and change of clothes!) Highlight of my bali trip!

All the experiences and how willing and knowledgeable Wayan was about anything and everything. Wayan would get us early or late, be out until 12am with us. Not complaints has always been amazing. Would recommend and will be with Wayan next time too

Artha was our driver and he took care of everything we needed while in Bali to make it a perfect trip. He was very knowledgable of the history of Bali, drove us safely to all destinations, helped us get into each place we visited, assisted us with picking out traditional clothing for a wedding and even assisted the wedding party with suiting up in their traditional attire.
