Itinerario

Everything on time, flexible and very friendly, lucky with the sun. In the Nachsaisin everything is closed (public toilets, restaurants, kiosks), but was not to be expected otherwise.
Thank you for your valuable review. We look forward to welcoming you again in Halifax in the future.
Beautiful scenery. Clean car, courteous driver. Lots of driving with very little stretch time. Peggy’s Cove had ample time to wander/take pictures. UNESCO sites could have used an hour or two to explore. This may have been negotiable before tour had we known. Our driver did pull over to give us quick photo opportunities. He was very gracious.
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the beautiful scenery, comfortable ride, and that our driver made the experience pleasant. We appreciate your helpful suggestions about adding more time at the UNESCO sites — that’s valuable input we’ll consider for future tours. It’s wonderful to know you had a great visit to Peggy’s Cove and enjoyed the photo stops along the way. We hope to welcome you again on another tour soon!
We were traveling on a cruise with my mother who is 86 and cannot walk too far or too fast. Having a personal guide and driver really made the trip not only possible, but enjoyable. Our guide, Neda, picked us up from the pier and was very informative and considerate. She took us to all the major points of interest and did not rush us and let us take our time to soak in the beautiful sights. We so appreciate having Neda take us around and couldn’t have asked for a better guide.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re delighted to hear that you and your mother enjoyed your tour with Neda. She takes great pride in providing thoughtful and flexible service, and your kind words mean a lot. We’re so glad the experience was comfortable and memorable for your family. Wishing you many more beautiful travels ahead!
Driver was excellent. Very polite and took about of the way to buy some luggage. Car was extremely clean
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted to hear that you had such a positive experience. Our driver will be happy to know you appreciated his helpfulness and professionalism. We’re also glad you found the vehicle clean and comfortable.
We booked this tour because we were going to be in Halifax as a port stop on a cruise. Communication was good so I had high hopes. Our ship docked at one end of the terminal and our driver was at the other end so we had to walk for at least 20 minutes. We met our driver and the car was very comfortable and he provided lots of water. We repeatedly told him what time we had to be back at the ship. All the stops were great. At the last stop in Lunemburg, we again mentioned the time. We walked around for maybe 20 minutes and then went back to the car. When he put the return address in the navigation system, we could see that the return trip was going to be 1 hour and 30 minutes. At the time, we had 45 minutes to get there! When we mentioned this to him, he started going at least 20 km over the speed limit and called, I guess, the owner of the tour company. They decided that as long as we were back by 30 minutes after we said, the ship would wait. They had no idea what they were talking about! We made it back at 2:50 and did not see our ship. We ran through the terminal and then remembered that we had tendered. All of the tour busses had arrived back at the same time so luckily the tender service was behind. We were the last four people on the LAST tender. Do not book this tour if you have time constraints!
Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re very sorry for the stress you experienced while returning to your ship — we completely understand how concerning that must have been. We would like to clarify that our regular pickup point is located at Pier 20, which is part of the same Halifax Seaport complex as Piers 21 and 22. All three gates are next to each other, and typically it’s only a 5-minute walk between them. We do our best to meet guests as close as possible to their docking pier, but sometimes ship berthing locations and port traffic can cause small variations. We’re glad to hear you found the car comfortable, enjoyed the water provided, and appreciated the tour stops. However, we truly regret that the return timing caused such worry, and we’ve reviewed this situation carefully with our team to ensure better time management for cruise guests in the future. Thank you again for your feedback — it helps us improve and serve our guests better each day.
This tour was a great disappointment The vehicle arrived and was not appropriate for 4 people. The vehicle was dirty The driver was from India and had absolutely no no knowledge of of Halifax and basically talked about himself. He shared no information about Halifax or the sites we visited. The people in the back seat could not understand his accent. We expected a local person who understood the culture and history of Nova Scotio / Halifax. He could just have been a taxi driver. This tour spoiled our entire short day in Canada I have taken other Viator tours which were wonderful in a Mercedes van with interesting and knowledgeable drivers. I feel I deserve a refund. I plan to file a more formal grievance. Signed. Dr R Feldman. 516 476 3986
Dear Dr. Feldman, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your recent tour experience in Halifax did not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologize for the issues you mentioned regarding the condition of the vehicle, the guiding experience, and the overall quality of service provided. We completely understand how disappointing this must have been, especially given your limited time in Canada. Please be assured that we take such concerns very seriously, as this is not the level of service we aim to provide our guests. For your tour, we provided a 7-seater SUV (Mitsubishi Outlander), which comfortably accommodates four passengers. Your original booking was for a 5-hour tour covering Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg, and Mahone Bay. However, as this was a private tour, you requested to adjust the itinerary to Peggy’s Cove and Halifax city, and our driver followed your instructions. We understand that Halifax, being a historical city, requires a knowledgeable guide to provide proper narration and context. Had we known in advance that you wished to focus on the city, we would have arranged for one of our specialized city guides to accompany you. We regret that this was not clarified at the outset, as it may have impacted the quality of your experience. Once again, we sincerely apologize for the disappointment and thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve.
Nice Uber driver, not a tour guide. Arrived in a car too small for 4 adults, wasted an hour switching cars and wanted an additional money at the end to pay for his gas. There was NO narrative, would have been a lot less expensive to hire an Uber driver. Would not recommend this tour company.
Dear Debbie, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your experience with our tour did not meet your expectations. We always strive to provide comfortable vehicles and knowledgeable service, and we regret that this was not how you felt on your tour. For your booking, we initially provided a brand-new Tesla Model 3. When you preferred a larger vehicle, we quickly arranged a premium Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 SUV to ensure your comfort. In addition, although the tour was scheduled for 5 hours, you enjoyed 6 hours and 30 minutes without any extra charge, as we wanted you to have the best possible experience. Regarding gratuities, drivers may accept tips, but they should never request additional payment from guests, and we will certainly look into your concern to ensure clarity and professionalism in the future. We are truly sorry that despite these efforts, the tour still did not meet your expectations. Your feedback is important to us, and we will continue to improve our service to better serve our guests.
An excellent stress free tour of Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. Great driver with lotss of local knowledge and the private tour allowed us to customize how much time we spent in each locale.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed your stress-free tour of Peggy’s Cove, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg. It’s great that the flexibility of a private tour allowed you to spend time the way you wanted in each location, and that your driver’s local knowledge helped make the experience even more memorable. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again on another tour in the future!
We had a great experience in Halifax! We learned a lot and were able to see some amazing sights. It was so nice to have a tour with the 3 in our party and a tour guide who knew so much about the area. We would highly recommend!
We’re so happy you had a great experience in Halifax! Touring with a smaller group really does make the day special, and we’re glad your guide was able to share so much about the area with you. Thank you for your kind words and recommendation—we’d love to see you back again!
Hard to say as people we were with are mobility impaired. We did not go to lunnenburg. Peggycove very nice. I think 5 hrs would be cutting it close to have gone to lumnenburg plus Peggy cove Driver drove us around Halifax instead Driver was difficult to understand tho. Also car was a bit. small for 4 older people
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your visit to Peggy’s Cove and the scenic drive through Halifax. We understand that every group has different needs, especially when mobility is a concern, and we always aim to adjust the itinerary to make the experience as comfortable as possible. We also appreciate your comments regarding the vehicle size and communication—we’ll be sure to keep this in mind to improve future tours. Your input helps us continue to provide a better experience for all our guests.
