Questa esperienza è stata progettata con cura per i veri amanti delle escursioni in montagna. Questa esperienza prevede, oltre ai benefici dell'escursionismo in montagna, un contatto molto diretto con i pascoli ancestrali dei paesi attraverso la visita ai loro recinti e rifugi, ma ha anche una fortissima componente naturale di relax tra i luoghi. Tutto è programmato a un ritmo che consente alle persone di godersi i luoghi senza fretta in modo che possano davvero approfittare di questi luoghi ... Per gli amanti delle cascate e delle lagune è senza dubbio un punto di forza in quanto lungo il percorso si presentano dopo pranzo diverse che non sono alla portata del normale camminatore. Abbiamo messo alla prova questa esperienza con buoni risultati quindi crediamo fortemente nella sua qualità e abbiamo deciso di condividerla con chiunque voglia avventurarsi con noi. Itinerario
Inizio dell'esperienza dal punto di ritrovo alle 10 del mattino con tutti i partecipanti destinati alla Pedra bela. Passando attraverso diverse aree pic-nic e salendo in cima alla montagna attraverso una foresta.
Posizione con viste fantastiche su tutta la Valle di Gerês e Albufeira da Caniçada. Paesaggi mozzafiato dove si possono vedere alcune vette della Serra do Gerês. Inizio della passeggiata intorno alle 10:45 che ci porterà al Curral de Carvalhas das Éguas e al suo rifugio pastorale. Dopo una breve sosta alle 11:25 procediamo verso il Curral da Lomba do Vidoeiro dove possiamo vedere il suo vecchio rifugio, il luogo in cui pernottano i pastori. Nuova sosta per contemplare il luogo e alle 11:50 iniziamo la fase finale dell'escursione al Prado da Teixeira con arrivo verso le 12:25 dove ci fermeremo per rilassarci all'ombra delle sue imponenti querce in un prato verde, per conoscere la sua pastori rifugio e assorbire la potenza dei paesaggi circostanti. Un piccolo ruscello che vi passa forma una pozza naturale di acqua pura e cristallina dove è possibile fare dei bei tuffi. Una vera oasi di montagna. Tempo anche per il pranzo (picnic) e il recupero delle energie per il resto della giornata.
Alle 14:30 iniziamo una nuova escursione che ci porterà in uno dei più grandi segreti di Gerês, la Fecha da Pombeira con la sua enorme cascata e la sua piscina naturale che chiamano Cascata dos Hippies. Luogo di sosta obbligatoria non solo per fare il bagno ma anche per contemplare ciò che la natura ha da offrirci. Intorno alle 15:30 continuiamo la nostra passeggiata questa volta lungo il letto del fiume dove troveremo veri tesori naturali fino a raggiungere la Laguna Olimpica, luogo di sosta obbligatoria per i bagni e collegamento con la natura allo stato puro e selvaggio.
Alle 16:30 ora di riprendere a camminare verso una delle cascate più conosciute del nostro Parco Nazionale, la Cascata do Arado, lungo il percorso vedremo ancora altre lagune e cascate. Alle 17:00 ora di fermarsi di nuovo in un parco pic-nic poco più avanti dove verrà servito uno spuntino con vino, formaggio, pane e salsicce per fare il pieno di energie per la passeggiata finale che ci riporterà al punto di partenza del camminare. Alle 17:30 già con le energie recuperate è tempo di fare l'ultima passeggiata che ci riporterà al luogo dove abbiamo iniziato la giornata a Pedra Bela. Una volta raggiunta la fine di questo percorso circolare intorno alle 18:45, torneremo al punto di incontro nel villaggio di Gerês.

It was an excellent experience, at all levels, good gastronomy, landscape and very friendly staff.
Of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. We were surprised by the rain in the middle of the track and still decided to continue, which made the experience even more spectacular. Our guide (Rui) was very attentive and careful and led us to know wonderful landscapes. Experience 5 stars, I recommend.
Difficult access to go down to the bottom...I doubt there are other accesses to go... Recommended for agile people and equipped with good shoes. It is indicated that fatal accidents have already taken place... So go ahead with the utmost care.... After this important safety detail, the natural site is beautiful to be able to swim in these crystal clear waters and jump from the rocks.

This was truly an amazing trek! Our guide was very knowledgeable and very informative. We truly enjoyed the journey, it was by far our favorite experience during our trip to Portugal. If you are a hiker and want a very special experience I highly recommend this trip. When we were tired we took breaks, we brought food and our guide also brought a bunch of food to share with us. I was amazed at the beauty of this area. It was truly breathtaking and absolutely gorgeous!!!! The springs to drink from were fresh and delicious mineral rich water.
Gentleness , choice of route , the beautiful view despite the rain . The guide moved the intinerary so that we could enjoy the sun when it appeared and always showing us as much as possible.
Nelson our guide was very helpful and informative, also very easy to get along with. Showed us the least populated spots around the hike for beautiful views and refreshing dips in lagoons and waterfalls. Nelson has a deep passion for hiking and the culture of the place. He was also very accommodating for everyones needs and capabilities throughout the hike. We loved every bit of the journey with Nelsons guidance. I would recommend this trip to anyone seeking adventure and the best that Geres has to offer!!
Spectacular! I went on a trip with my wife and my dog. As soon as we met with Nelson and Rui I saw it was going to be a day to remember, because our puppy instantly became affectionate to them (rare thing). My wife and I became acquainted with absolutely charming parts of the Gerês, and even had to do some dives in refreshing waterfalls. Nelson and Rui, with their infinite sympathy and kindness, were the perfect guides for a relaxed and memorable walk. An experience that we will undoubtedly repeat!
The Peneda-Gerês National Park is one of the most amazing places to visit, its natural beauty is everywhere. However, Gerês also has its secrets.
