Unisciti a noi per una passeggiata di 2,5 ore attraverso le foreste e i sentieri di Avellanas, alla scoperta della straordinaria fauna selvatica e delle piante uniche del nostro quartiere costiero. Orario di inizio flessibile: Scegli tra le 6:30 e le 15:30 Esploreremo un anello di 2 miglia, rivelando sentieri nascosti e luoghi sconosciuti anche alla gente del posto. Aspettatevi avvistamenti di scimmie vocali, uccelli tropicali colorati e piccoli crostacei annidati tra le maree -Passeggia attraverso 4 diversi ecosistemi: bordo della foresta, mangrovie, estuario e spiaggia intertidale -Avvista affascinante fauna selvatica che vive nella zona -Scopri la storia dietro l'iconico ponte simbolo di Avellanas -Scopri perché le foreste di mangrovie sono uno degli ecosistemi più ricchi del pianeta terra -Aiutare a proteggere questi habitat con una rapida pulizia del sentiero durante il nostro tour. Tutto questo mentre mettiamo il nostro granello di sabbia facendo una pulizia della spiaggia come una piccola offerta alla natura.

Itinerario
Inizia a esplorare la foresta secca tropicale, avvistando uccelli, mammiferi e rettili.
Entra nella foresta di mangrovie e nell'estuario, dove l'acqua dolce incontra l'acqua salata, creando un ricco habitat per la fauna selvatica più varia.
Attraversa l'estuario dove i fiumi incontrano l'oceano. *durante le ore di alta marea possiamo bagnarci fino alla vita.
Passeggia sulla spiaggia scoprendo crostacei e dollari di sabbia nella zona intertidale
Termina la passeggiata raggiungendo l'iconico Rochelles Mangrove Bridge, simbolo della conservazione.

It was a great experience for my family to have the opportunity to learn about the wildlife in this place and understand the dynamics of such diverse ecosystems as the tropical dry forest, mangrove forest, estuary, and intertidal beach zone. And Chelo is the best guide!!! knowledgeable, passionate, and wonderful at sharing the beauty of this environment.
Highly recommended tour, excellent guide, very attentive in explaining and answering our questions. A must-do activity if you visit Avellanas; it is a wonderful place.
Definitely recommend this fun and educational tour! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about all the vegetation, animals, and insects of Guanacaste and of Avellanas Beach. She taught us about the mangrove tidal forest and its importance to the ecosystem, as well as pointing out the sights and sounds of the wildlife.
Marcelo was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, curious, and kind. He was a delight to spend the time with. I don’t speak Spanish very well and his English was fantastic. We were able to see some really beautiful birds and learn really fascinating things about the ecology of Costa Rica! We’ll be scheduling more trips with him while we’re here!

This was the highlight of our trip! We took a really beautiful nature walk with guide, Casiana, who was amazing! She was very knowledgeable, friendly and happy to answer all our questions. The mangrove was my favorite part- learning about the trees and how they adapt to the sea water! We saw howler monkeys, spider monkeys, Motmots, Macaws (which was such a treat!), an Osprey - incredibly beautiful, and so much more. Casi made the nature walk so easy and you could tell how much she loved all of the incredible wildlife around us. We'd highly recommend this tour! We went on a private tour, but would also be great for small groups.
This personalized tour with Marcelo was incredible. His knowledge of the local ecosystem and various species was impressive. I learned so much from him and was able to spot so many different bird species thanks to his keen eye and ear! I would highly recommend this experience!
Definitely recommend this birding/nature experience. Marcelo picked us up and shared his abundance of knowledge on the birds, plants, trees, and the nature in this local area. It was a lot of fun, and we saw a vast number of birds in the mangroves and along the river.
