Giulia was an incredible tour guide! We had our two daughters, ages 12 and 9, with us and she created such a memorable and educational experience for them. She brought textiles for them to touch to connect them with the paintings, and plants to touch and smell so that the art came alive for them. She also did a wonderful job providing extra details so that my husband and I received an enriching experience as well! It was wonderful to have someone attentive to my children’s needs and interest levels. Giulia was kind, fun, and thoughtful. Thank you, Giulia, for such a great experience!
Sara was an amazing tour guide with extensive knowledge and tons of energy. We learned so much! Sara knows how to make two teenagers excited about art history. Both of my boys, ages 17 and 13, agree that this was a fantastic experience and that they had a blast! Don’t hesitate to book.
Having the right guide means everything when it comes to private tours and Elisa was the BEST!! I would request her for every tour in Florence if we go back. She was so full of energy, kind and patient with our kids, and really knew how to relate to them. She even fought in large groups to get them space, fended off other visitors that got "too close" and was such a joy to be around. She really brought the Uffizi to life and made our experience one to remember! 10/10 recommend this tour with Elisa!
Elise was FANTASTIC! This tour was a highlight of our trip. The girls were engaged and interested and she held their attention completely! She made the beautiful museum relatable to them and they interacted and enjoyed it so much!! Can’t say enough great things about Elise. She was magic!
Elisa L. was our guide for our private family tour of the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, and the experience was spectacular! I would book it again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend requesting Elisa specifically. It was me, my husband and our 8 year old daughter. We all learned a lot and enjoyed the tour but the focus was on our daughter which is exactly what we wanted and why we booked the kid-friendly tour. Elisa was able to really connect with her and she not only learned a lot but she had a great time too. Elisa knew how to make information about the art, artists and the context of their works interesting and comprehensible to a kid without dumbing it down. She’s clearly able to adjust to different age groups in terms of depth of information. She also knew all the cooler spots with a/c vents which helped a lot with the heat wave!
Emanuela was absolutely fantastic and our tour of the Uffizi Gallery was amazing. Our 8,7, and 4 year old loved it. So family-friendly!
Elisa was an absolutely incredible guide! She was 100% focused on the children and made an instant, wonderful connection with our six-year-old, who loves art and Greek mythology. With our permission, she would lead the kids by the hand straight to the front of the artwork and physically get down on their level to speak directly with them. Her approach was so engaging that another mom on a completely separate tour walked over to tell us how amazing our guide seemed — she was seriously jealous! Beyond being fantastic with the kids, Elisa easily answered all the adults' questions. She navigated the Uffizi beautifully and strategically took short breaks so the kids and grandparents could sit on benches in the long corridors. She made a massive museum completely accessible and enjoyable for three generations. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Wonderful experience! My 7 and 9 year old daughters loved the museum all thanks to our guide Elisa. She was engaging, funny, and so kind to the children. We learned so much from her. She kept the girls attention the whole time so that the whole family could enjoy the museum. I would highly recommend this tour for a family with small children
Amazing tour of the Uffizi Gallery with Lurica. She personalized the tour and was a wealth of local knowledge. Our 12 year old daughter was in heaven with all the art history. We loved it and couldn’t recommend it more for others in Florence.
