La Costiera Amalfitana è uno dei luoghi più suggestivi e affascinanti d'Italia, e forse del mondo. Patrimonio Unesco è il luogo ideale dove godersi il sole, il mare e la buona cucina. Questa gita di un giorno garantisce ai turisti comfort e professionalità. Partendo da Roma e viaggiando attraverso la campagna del sud, dopo una breve pausa caffè on the road, avrai la possibilità di ammirare la costa e la famosa città di Sorrento! Quindi, dopo un'altra ora di guida, visiterai il pittoresco villaggio di Positano, dove potrai pranzare, goderti le strade colorate e strette e fare shopping. Il pomeriggio sarà dedicato al sito archeologico di Pompei, da soli o con una guida turistica (servizio extra), secondo le vostre preferenze. Poi ritorno a Roma. Potremmo modificare l'ordine di visita in base alle condizioni del traffico oa nostra discrezione.

Da Roma, sarete guidati per un paio d'ore attraverso la splendida campagna meridionale. La nostra prima sosta veloce sarà lungo la strada a pedaggio per una pausa caffè e croissant. Dopodiché, continueremo il nostro viaggio fino a quando non entrerà in vista il Golfo di Napoli, insieme all'iconico vulcano Vesuvio. Mentre viaggiamo lungo la tortuosa strada costiera verso Sorrento, avremo un'altra opportunità per fermarci e scattare splendide foto del Golfo di Napoli e dell'affascinante città di Sorrento.
Dopo una pausa caffè e cappuccino, insieme ad alcune foto di Sorrento e della sua baia, continueremo a guidare per altri 45 minuti per raggiungere Positano. Qui prende vita una cartolina fotografica: un mosaico di tetti piani e a cupola, insieme a scale coperte di viti che scendono giù per incontrare la dolce curva della spiaggia. Avrete tempo libero per esplorare questo elegante resort estivo, pieno di boutique di design, negozi e caffè sul mare. È inoltre possibile visitare la Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta, notevole per la sua cupola in maiolica, e sede di un'icona bizantina del XIII secolo di una Madonna Nera. Per il pranzo, potrete scegliere tra vari ristoranti sulla spiaggia o optare per un pasto leggero e delizioso in una delle caffetterie.
Puoi esplorare uno dei siti archeologici più belli del mondo da solo o con una Guida turistica autorizzata al costo aggiuntivo di 130 €. La città di Pompei fu distrutta e sepolta dall'eruzione del Vesuvio nel 79 d.C. Questa devastante eruzione coprì Pompei in 4-6 metri (13-20 piedi) di cenere e pomice, e la città rimase perduta per quasi 1.700 anni fino alla sua riscoperta accidentale nel 1749. Da allora, gli scavi hanno fornito uno spaccato straordinariamente dettagliato della vita durante l'apice dell'Impero Romano. Passeggiando attraverso il sito scavato, incontrerai bagni, teatri, templi, mercati e fori perfettamente conservati, che ti permetteranno di fare un passo indietro nella vita degli antichi romani. This is a long drive. 3.5 to 4 hours over and the same back. Pompeii was definitely worth the trip although you are in the sun. go early in the day. tour guide Carlos and driver Alexandro were both great! we had a nice lunch in Positano and the shops are nice as well. try the lemon gellotto deserts!
Alessandro was very knowledgeable and took great care of our needs. Would love to have him on a tour again.

Alessandro took us on a wonderful tour of Positano, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, followed by a quick stop at Pompeii. He arrived on time and we returned to Rome at precisely 19:00. He was a great host and was very knowledgeable of the areas toured. He was very responsive to the questions we had and we was very good at conversation in both Italian and English.

My husband and I traveled to Italy with our 3 kids (18, 21 and 22) and my parents and we really wanted to see the Amalfi Coast but didn’t want a big tour. We are so happy we booked this private tour with Alessandro. We really enjoyed our trip to Positano and Pompeii. My mom uses a wheelchair for longer distances and he was extremely helpful in providing an experience that we could do all together. We were only in Rome for 2 days and we wanted to see as much as we could. This tour was a perfect way for all of us to see and learn about a beautiful part of Italy in a comfortable van with a very knowledgeable and kind tour guide.
Really glad we did it. I always wanted to go to Positano. It was a long drive and a bit rushed. Was so glad we did it though and so glad we did Pompeii with the kids. The tour guide for that was so wonderful.

The communication with the company was not good. I got an email with one hour to reply asking if we wanted a tour guide in Pompeii- when I booked this more than a month ago. Luckily I answered in time but the coordinator did not tell me I had to pay the tour guide in cash. I was 20 euro short and the driver had to lend me the rest until we got to an atm. The stop on sorrento on the way to Positano to get croissants is misleading. We essentially stopped at a packed convenience store off the highway- I was picturing a nicer cafe that gave a sense of the atmosphere. Also I asked for more time in Positano and less time in Pompeii in advance of the trip. This was also not communicated to our driver. The Pompeii tour guide was excellent - very engaging and knowledgeable. The car is very nice and clean and the driver was nice. It was just a bit of hassle for the cost.
I'm very sorry for the communication but I can assure that sometimes email messages with viator arrive even hours late. Moreover, dear Joy, due to cancellation policy, that is for customers 24 hours before start time, we cannot organize anything because any plan can be deleted. When it come the time within 24 hours we kindly ask if customers wish to visit Pompeii with a guide though it won't stand on us. It should be a request from customers, but we always try to be very helpful with travelers. I forgot to tell the driver that you wanted to spend more time in Positano than in Pompeii and to inform you that the guide service must be paid, if possible, in cash. I apologize for both shortcomings, we are a bit tired. Thanks anyway for your honest review. I will treasure it. Many thanks.
