Itinerario

Our family of four - 2 adults and 2 older teens, thoroughly enjoyed our private walking tour with Sebastian. Not only did we learn about the beautiful and historic sights along the tour, but Sebastian is a genuinely kind person who loves working with people. At the start of the tour he talked with us about what we would like to see and hear, and along the tour he answered all of our questions. Do you want to hear about old history, more recent history, or a combination of both? Any specific things you want to know about? Sebastian will tailor the tour to each group's interests. We were interested in local food, so he even made a stop for us at Pressburg Bajgel where we tried the local Bratislava pastries and a Kofola drink. Before departing, he gave us some recommendations on what we could do with the rest of our day. It was a great tour, 10/10 recommend!
Thank you so much for this wonderful and detailed review! It was an absolute pleasure guiding your lovely family around Bratislava. I always love tailoring my tours to what my guests find most interesting, and you and your teens were so engaging and full of great questions. I’m so glad the stop for Pressburg Bajgel and Kofola was a hit—you can't fully experience our city without tasting a bit of it! I hope the rest of your day in Bratislava was amazing. Safe travels on all your future family adventures!
We had a very small group today, which made for a very interactive discussion. Sebastian was a good guide and covered history, culture, and architectural aspects of Bratislava very well in our time together. I really did enjoy his recommendations to try different types of foods that are local, from meals to candy and drinks. It shows his love for the area and its history and he was not just reciting a set dialog. Highly recommended thorough tour.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our tour and the interactive nature of our small group. I always strive to make my tours more than just a recitation of dates and facts, so it means a lot to me that you noticed and appreciated the passion I put into sharing Bratislava’s history, culture, and architecture. I'm also glad you enjoyed the local food, candy, and drink recommendations—exploring a city through its flavors is one of my favorite parts of travel! Thank you again for your high recommendation, and I hope you have a fantastic rest of your journey.
The tour did not meet our expectations. Sebastian was kind and pleasant but we would have preferred more information about the history of the city and its people. There were many recommendations for local eateries, and some discussion around the similarities of local countries languages, and many stops at statues/sculptures - however the insight into the history of Bratislava was scant. However, with many hi deeds of 5 star reviews perhaps it is just us who would prefer a different style.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am very sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations, and I must admit I am quite surprised by this lower rating. My standard "City & Castle Tour" is designed to provide a well-rounded introduction to Bratislava. Most of my guests look for a general overview of our history, combined with cultural context, fun facts, and practical local recommendations. Furthermore, if you had specific historical topics you wanted to explore, you were more than welcome to ask questions at any point. I did not notice any questions from your side during our time together, which, for most guides, is a signal that the guest is satisfied with the current depth of the information and does not wish to dive deeper. For the future, if you are looking for a deep, academic dive into historical facts and dates, I highly recommend specifically booking a tour that has "historical tour" with a historian. This will ensure you find a guide whose style matches your specific preferences. Thank you again for your visit, and I wish you all the best in your future travels.

Fantastic tour with Sebastian, who was very knowledgable and informative. He was extremely engaging with our group and answered many additional questions. He pointed out the best places to eat, suggested local dishes and drinks to try whilst we were in beautiful Bratislava.
Thank you so much for this wonderful and detailed review! I'm absolutely thrilled to hear that your group enjoyed the tour and found the insights and recommendations helpful. Sharing Bratislava’s stories and helping guests discover our local food and drinks is always my favorite part. You were a fantastic group to guide, and your curiosity made the tour even better. I hope you had a great rest of your stay!
