When your guide takes you to the various stores to shop, you should remember the types of stores included in the tour in determining whether to purchase as you may find certain items "less expensive" at the next store versus purchasing at the first store.
Daniel was great! We told him it was my birthday and he bought me a magnet..lol. He also took a detour and took my friends and I to a Dominican food court. He was very patient as my friends and I shopped around and took us to places not mentioned in the description. He also had some Mamajuana waiting for us when he picked us up. I definitely would recommend him as a tour guide.
Santos was very good. Thank you for the experience. We went to the beach & explore the city. We eat Dominican authentic food very good
We enjoyed our time with Alfredo and Driver. He was very accommodating and flexible to our needs. This was a great tour to see Puerto Plata DR. We loved the chocolate factory and umbrella street. 🩵
We had a good driver. The only problem was his command of english and our command of spanish. Both were limited. Otherwise we saw everything in tour description and Antonio was very accommodating and he tried very hard. That said Puerto Plata isn't the prettiest place. Mostly depressed areas with even the "expensive" houses being surrounded by barbed wire. It does have some pretty beaches. Come prepared to get a little drunk on the Ron Macorix rum tour! Overall we had a nice time, especially as it was just the 2 of us in a taxi on the tour.

I was impressed by the beautiful things I saw in Puerto Plata, the museum of amber, the chocolate factory, Umbrella Street, the Paseo de Donia Blanca, etc. I didn't get out of the car to visit the fortress of San Felipe because of the rain. My Junior guide was very friendly and he explained to me with great precision and professionalism the different places I visited. Despite a few drops of rain that wanted to ruin the day, Junior gave me a few jokes that made the day brighter. A thousand thanks, Junior, and continue your good work.

A great ride with Santos. We were two women and a child and Santos was attentive and very kind and patient. He took several souvenir photos of us. I recommend this tour of a few hours to see puerto plata and the main attractions.

We booked an outside tour coming off a cruise ship. I told them the wrong pick up cruise terminal to pick up. They quickly sent Junior our tour guide to meet up at the correct terminal. We were pleasantly surprised that we were the only group Junior was taking care of. An VIP tour. The tour was jam packed but Junior patiently took us to each location and waited there for us patiently. Every site we visited was interesting and meaningful. Great selection of sites. And we got back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Thank you Junior!
Operator never picked me up never called no show enough said. I joke that Viator takes this into account and Reno es this tour company from their site.
It was explained to him that there was no tour available for that day.
Make sure to request English speaking guide and keep in mind there is lot to walk from ship to taxi stand
