Pisac private hike

We booked our tour through Inkayni Peru and our guide was Alfie. We wanted a half day tour of Pisac where we would be driven to the top and hike down to the market which was actually hard to arrange. All the other operators wanted whole day trips to the sacred valley with no hike. Our pick up at our hotel was punctual and the entire tour was smooth. Alfie was knowledgeable and accommodating touring us on the way to Pisac, and from top all the way through the various ruins. it was a great day.

Great experience with one major hiccup

My husband and I did 3 private tours with the wonderful Yeny and her driver (can’t remember his name but he was super sweet and a very safe driver). First, they picked us up in their nice van at the Cusco airport and took us to 3 sites-Chinchero, Moray and Maras. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and were dropped off at our hotel (Pakaritampu-highly recommend) in the adorable and interesting town of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley. We stayed there for 3 night visiting the archeological site in town and hiking the granaries and just enjoyed walking around the quaint town. We met Yeny again for our Machu Picchu tour. She was an excellent and interesting guide and it was an otherworldly experience! The major hiccup is that Inkayni Tours mistakingly booked us for circuit 3 when I had requested circuit 2 —and we booked far in advance to be able to get that circuit. It’s the circuit that has the iconic Machu Picchu views. I was VERY disappointed that this happened. Yeny tried to make it right but the personnel at Machu Picchu were very strict and would not allow a change. She did finagle a guard to take me up to the greatest vantage point at Machu Picchu for a quick photo op. Once we got to Cusco, we had a half day tour of the city and some of the surrounding areas. Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed Yeny’s company and insights. And my husband absolutely loved being called Sir William!!

Informative Tour

I think the guide shared his heartfelt beliefs and knowledge of and passion for Quechua culture and we appreciated that. Some notes, though, about things that make clients uncomfortable: Mentioning Freddie Kruger and 'Sexy Woman.' Offering your number to a young woman or asking her to meet later to party with your pals or telling her that you feel like you have known her for years. Maybe due to cultural differences, but it is important to understand these things as a tour guide.

Amazing Tour with a good local guide

The tour was amazing because the guide Jonathan showed us so many famous spots in Cusco like the market e. g. He gave us many tipps how to make a good catch there. Besides he recommended What to else visit during our stay in Cusco/Peru. He was so friendly and helpful :-) Highly recommend that Tour :-))

Risposta dell'operatore

Dear Janina, our guide Jonathan is grateful with your review because he feels that he did a good job with you during this half-day tour. Many thanks by trusting Inkayni Perú Tours, we hope you have the best memories of us. Kind regards, INKAYNI PERU TOURS.

Thoughtful half day excursion with a couple of pleasant surprises

The archaeological sites are amazing. The stones are much bigger than Machu Picchu and just stylistically look a bit different. It's worth seeing these as well as Machu Picchu. The tour guide was very friendly and informative. He often kindly offered to take pictures for us. We made a couple of stops that gave us AMAZING views of Cusco. I wasn't expecting that, but they were well worth the stop. If you've got the time, defiantly do this tour.

Paul was awesome. Very knowledgeable about Cusco history and a passionate storyteller. He also recommended several local restaurants and we’ve enjoyed all that we’ve visited. Overall, a great experience.

Marvelous journey

What a great surprise for my family this half day tour was. Alonso was our guide, very knowledgeable, low key and easy going. He explained everything in detail and we covered a lot more than we had anticipated. This tour definitely worth it. Thank you so much Alonso.

Great guide.

Customized trip at our request. We were able to spend more time at places that interested us and less at other place. The tour was informative and easygoing private tour. Our guide Franco was very nice and went at our pace. Water was also provided.
