Carina was outstanding! We were able to see all the must-see spots throughout Buenos Aires and without feeling rushed. In fact, Carina and our driver Maxi made us feel connected and just like friends on vacation together. Her 25 years experience touring the city shows as she is very knowledgeable about all things Argentina. We felt truly entertained throughout the tour and it was not too wordy - or a history lecture, but more about experiencing the history, trends and social atmosphere of this most cosmopolitan city. We tried the unique food, walked the neighborhoods and experienced the diverse culture - very fun. Highly recommend for a great experience.

Carina surprised us with the amazing El Ateneo Grand Splendid Bookstore, which took my breath away. When I entered, my remark was "Oh my goodness!" She provide us a very extensive tour of Buenos Aires, however we chose not to go to Cafe Tortoni due to congestion caused by protesters of the newly elected President; also the wait in line to see Evita's tomb was longer than we wanted, as we are 75 years old.

Carina and her driver provided a full-day tour that took us to all the important Buenos Aires neighborhoods, and told us the complete history behind everything we saw. We arrived in BA on 2/7/23, and were taken directly to the Viking Jupiter. The cruise ship dock is not convenient at all for getting into the city, and the Buenos Aires top highlights are quite far apart. We only had the next day to see Buenos Aires, so we chose to hire Carina for a private day tour of the city. Carina is just plain fabulous. We were picked up right on time and chauffeured around in a Peugeot with driver, Enrique, who got us quickly to each site, dropped us off and was waiting close by when we were finished. Carina is thorough, flexible, and engaging. In 7 hours we got to see Retiro, Recoleta, Monserrat, San Telmo, La Boca & Caminito, Puerto Modero, and Palermo districts and their highlights, had lunch together at a local place, and got back to the cruise terminal in plenty of time for our departure. If you’ve only got one day in Buenos Aires, and you’re looking for an entertaining, professional tour by a well-organized tour guide, Carina should be your first choice.

Carina Lago is a wonderful person and one of the absolute best tour guides we have ever had. She and her driver guided us all over the city of Buenos Aires, including taking us to a silver designer. We stopped numerous times for photos, bathroom breaks, and to walk around various markets, including San Telmo Market and an antique market. The restaurant was fabulous, with the best beef I have ever had, thanks to Carina's recommendation. Carina picked us up at the cruise port and then dropped us at the airport, 8 hours later. She then helped us into the airport and spoke to the airport personnel in Spanish, asking them for a wheelchair for my wife, who walks with a cane. Thus, we were able to avoid a VERY long line. Thanks again Carina!!

Carina was a delight. Great English and a fabulous understanding of the English culture and her Argentinian. Gave us a brilliant insight into the city she loves. We had a good giggle too and only wish we had had her full day tour!

We never felt hurried or harried, rather we felt the day was at our leisure though we were actually fully busy.
