Il castello di Bodrum (turco: Bodrum Kalesi) è una fortificazione storica situata nel sud-ovest della Turchia nella città portuale di Bodrum, costruita dal 1402 in poi dai Cavalieri di San Giovanni (Cavalieri Ospitalieri) come Castello di San Pietro.
Il Museo di Archeologia Subacquea di Bodrum è stato fondato nel Castello di Bodrum nel 1964. Inizialmente, la priorità era il restauro del castello; successivamente, nello spazio disponibile, furono realizzate sale espositive. Oggi ci sono 14 sale espositive nel Museo di Bodrum. Come si evince dal nome del museo, esso comprende per lo più reperti subacquei.
Il teatro di Alicarnasso, [noto anche come teatro antico di Bodrum (turco: Bodrum Antik Tiyatrosu, solitamente abbreviato come Antik Tiyatro), è un teatro greco-romano del IV secolo a.C. situato a Bodrum, in Turchia. Si ritiene che il teatro sia stato costruito in uno stile simile al Teatro Antico di Epidauro

Gunay was excellent as a guide. We saw all the highlights of Bodrum and learned about the history and culture. She also took us to several good shops in the market. I would highly recommend this tour!

I reached out to Private Tours Bodrum super last minute, and Erkan got back to me right away and somehow managed to put together an amazing private tour for the very next day. Talk about service! He paired me with Lela and, honestly, she is hands down the BEST guide I’ve ever had anywhere. Lela is not only incredibly knowledgeable about Bodrum’s history and sights, but she’s also warm, funny and so full of energy. She showed me both the major attractions and some amazing off-the-beaten-path gems, places I would’ve never found on my own. I had a proper Turkish coffee the local way and ate at spots where only locals go. It felt really authentic! You can tell everyone in Bodrum knows her. People kept waving or stopping to chat, which made the whole experience even more personal and fun. She really made the city come alive for me. Also, a huge shout out to our driver Ali, who was super kind, professional and always ready right when we needed him. The van was spotless, comfortable and first-class. All in all, this was by far the best private tour experience I’ve had. Great value for the price too. If you're in Bodrum and want something special, this is the way to go and, if you can, ask for Lela. You won’t regret it!

Communication before was fantastic. Was waiting for us when we got off the cruise ship. The expensive jewelry shop was our first stop and not our cup of tea. But the rest was great once he figured out what kind of shopping we wanted. We would book again in a heartbeat.
