Prima del 19 ° secolo, Rio de Janeiro era circondata dalla foresta pluviale atlantica. Di seguito visiteremo il Monastero di São Bento. Un luogo di semplicità monastica che è uno dei complessi architettonici più belli del Brasile, dove c'è un sorprendente contrasto tra l'austero, volutamente semplice aspetto dell'esterno e la ricchezza dell'interno evidenziando incisioni barocche dorate con motivi vegetali. Ammirate l'esuberante stile rococò nell'incisione sull'altare maggiore, seguita da una vista sulla cupola e sulla cappella del Santissimo Sacramento.
Maracanã è già stato lo scenario del più importante classico del calcio brasiliano e ha conquistato i momenti storici del calcio internazionale. I fatti monumentali, come il millesimo gol di re Pelé, nel 1969, sono avvenuti anche nell'erba del tempio brasiliano del calcio. Inaugurata il 16 luglio, nel 1950, ha già ricevuto le coppe del mondo di quell'anno e alcune partite del campionato del mondo 2014. Ha ospitato anche la coppa Confederations del 2013, le cerimonie di apertura e chiusura dei giochi pan del 2007 e le Olimpiadi e Giochi Paralimpici, nel 2016, oltre alle competizioni sportive, Maracanã è già stato teatro di importanti eventi, come Madonna, Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, spettacoli di Tina Turner e messa in campo, del Papa João Paulo II, nel 1980 e nel 1997.
dalla cima della collina del Corcovado potrete ammirare la statua del Cristo del Redentore, che ha 38 metri o 125 piedi di altezza ed è stata realizzata in cemento armato rivestito in un mosaico di migliaia di piastrelle triangolari in pietra ollare, e avrà anche una possibilità per vedere alcuni dei panorami più belli della città.
Il gazebo in stile cinese offre una vista mozzafiato sulla città e sulla baia. Li hai sparsi ai tuoi piedi mentre ti godi l'ombra di una bella struttura. Anche la passeggiata qui è piacevole. Il Theatro Municipal è un teatro d'opera nel quartiere Centro di Rio de Janeiro, in Brasile. Costruito all'inizio del XX secolo, è considerato uno dei teatri più belli e importanti del paese. L'edificio è stato progettato in uno stile eclettico, ispirato all'Opéra di Parigi di Charles Garnier. Le pareti esterne sono inscritte con i nomi dei classici artisti eurocentrici e brasiliani. Si trova vicino alla National Library e al National Fine Arts Museum, affacciato sulla spaziosa piazza di Cinelândia.

A tailored trip for our requirements. 6 hours specifically designed to our preferences! Lots of laughter and positivity. We loved their energy and enthusiasm
We were traveling with Gisela and her daughter Victoria in a private car in which our two manual wheelchairs also fit. The two put together an individual route for us for two days, so that we not only saw all the sights, churches, cathedrals and in particular the Christ statue and Sugarloaf Mountain with the wheelchair, but also recommended us shops we wanted. It was really unique and we can only recommend this.

Michael and Nicole Roy went with Gisela Vayda on a private tour for 2 days . Plus Gisela picked us up at airport on the 23 April . On 24 and 25 April she took us on extensive touring of Rio . Including my home where I lived for the first 4 years of my life . She had her daughter Victoria to help her . She was EXCELLENT I would say BRILLIANT and we covered such a wide range of Rio de Janeiro . She had a had unbelievable knowledge and spoke excellent English. She made our trip to Rio one of the most memorable trips I have ever made . She the transferred us to our cruise on Saturday the 27 April . We will never forget her or Victoria . Gisela was an incredible guide! She went above and beyond. We had a custom itinerary that she followed perfectly. Gisela arranged a private tour for us of Rio. Our guide Lais was outstanding. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. She was very flexible and allowed us to alter the itinerary as the day progressed due to weather issues. We were able to customize the tour to include some of the standard Rio sites (i.e. Sugarloaf and downtown) with some of the Jewish sites. Highly recommended.
