Un'escursione di un'intera giornata lungo la costa e l'entroterra dell'Algarve, con un magnifico pranzo tipico portoghese e una degustazione di specialità locali, che si conclude con una vista mozzafiato della nostra costa a 902 metri. altezza in Foia. Minimo 2 persone / massimo 18 persone. Tour per famiglie o gruppi con un massimo di 18 persone.

Itinerario
Una visita alla zona di pesca di Alvor, dove verranno spiegate tutte le usanze e gli usi locali, e una visita guidata al Museo del Salvataggio di Alvor.
Dopo aver attraversato la splendida città di Portimao, visiteremo la nostra fortezza, costruita nel 1621 per proteggere i marinai portoghesi da altri pirati, descriverà anche il suo fascino e i suoi segreti.
A Ferragudo, un altro pittoresco villaggio di pescatori con 500 anni di storia, visiteremo la zona fluviale, la chiesa locale e una splendida vista del castello di São Joao do Arade con una vista mozzafiato sul fiume Arade.
Prima di arrivare a Silves, la città più antica dell'Algarve, conquistata dai Mori nel 1189, passiamo per le saline di Arade, per la cantina Harvad, dove verrà spiegato l'intero processo di questa azienda vinicola di origine fenicia, e per i bellissimi aranceti di questa zona rurale; dopo queste attrazioni è il momento di prendere d'assalto il castello e osservare questa imponente costruzione.
Poi è arrivata la tanto desiderata escursione in fuoristrada alla gola di Demo e al suo ponte sospeso a 20 metri dal suolo, un'attrazione impegnativa per i più audaci e coraggiosi nella bella cittadina montana di Alferce.
Arrivati ad Alferce, è il momento di un magnifico pranzo che riflette la cucina tradizionale portoghese e i suoi sapori. Ci verrà servito anche un delizioso assaggio del maiale nero locale come antipasto e, dopo aver terminato il pasto, è il momento di provare il famoso liquore Medronho, tradizionale delle nostre montagne.
Poiché ci troviamo sulle montagne di Monchique, visiteremo questo famoso villaggio, il più tipico villaggio di montagna di tutto l'Algarve, con i suoi costumi e le sue tradizioni. Vedremo anche il sughero, questo prodotto portoghese così popolare in tutto il mondo, e tutti i prodotti che possono essere realizzati con esso, il tutto accompagnato da una buona dose di panorami mozzafiato.
La ciliegina sulla torta è Foia, un luogo piacevole a circa 902 metri sul livello del mare da cui si può vedere quasi metà della costa dell'Algarve. Tempo anche per guardare/acquistare oggetti di artigianato locale e nazionale. Infine, l'inevitabile ritorno al vostro alloggio e la fine di questa avventura con il cuore pieno.

We enjoyed a fabulous day trip with our expert guide, Nunu, who treated us to an extraordinary experience including incredible vistas, an authentic Portuguese lunch with beverages, and a wildly fun off-road trek through the mountains. The weather was beautiful which enhanced an already perfect day.

If you are looking for an experience of Portimao area and the mountain country surrounding it, that is different to the traditional bus tour, choose this. Nunu our guide took four of us in his jeep to fishing and mountain villages, with a fully guided tour. We had lunch at a little cafe in the mountains, saw incredible views, learned about the fishing culture and way of life on the coast. He is a wealth of information and curious little tidbits about this area. And very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommended.

Full day, with a lot of adventures and sights packed in. We did some offlroading which was lots of fun. Antonio was a great host. Very personable and knowledgeable as well. Lunch was delicious. Saw places we wouldn't have visited on our own.

Antonio really gave us a amazing experience. We started the day with great weather. Not very sunny but great temperatures, nice wind but not cold at all. Later in the afternoon, after lunch, it actually started raining and the fog on the mountains to away any view. Antionio was able to give us some tips for is to go back to later this holiday, including the restaurant at praiha do molhe and the suspended bridge at barranco do demo that really got our eye. He was funny, very knowledgable and a great person to hang out with during our day out. His offroad experience really showed when he was pulling at the wheel whole we deove 80 km/h over narrow sandy roads flying through the corners. It was a great experience. I really would recommend you to choose this trip with him for a day. You won't regret a second of it. I promise you fun, laughter and new insights you never thought of before.
