Il Taj Mahal "Corona del Palazzo" è un mausoleo in marmo bianco avorio sulla riva destra del fiume Yamuna nella città indiana di Agra. Fu commissionato nel 1632 dall'imperatore Mughal Shah Jahan (r. 1628–1658) per ospitare la tomba della sua moglie preferita, Mumtaz Mahal; ospita anche la tomba dello stesso Shah Jahan. La tomba è il fulcro di un complesso di 17 ettari (42 acri), che comprende una moschea e una foresteria, ed è situata in giardini formali delimitati su tre lati da un muro merlato.
Il forte di Agra è un forte storico della città di Agra in India. Fu la residenza principale degli imperatori della dinastia Mughal fino al 1638, quando la capitale fu spostata da Agra a Delhi. Era anche conosciuto come "Lal-Qila", "Fort Rouge" o "Qila-i-Akbari".

Neither car nor driver showed up on the day. Phone calls were left unanswered even though my card had been charged. Needless to say, our trip was ruined.
