Northend tour with Audrey

Audrey was a great guide! She introduced us to so many people in her neighborhood, showed us the best stops that locals & visitors alike enjoy and the food was amazing! Now we know the places to stop next time we come to town! It's hard to pick a favorite stop... gelato? cannoli? ravioli? pizza? lemon slushy? Impossible to choose.

A 5-star No Brainer!

North End Neighborhood Foodie Tour with Audrey is awesome! Even having lived in Boston for years frequenting the North End, this tour was still so much fun with facts, stories and history from Audrey along the way. She is the Best and is a wealth of information. Had such a great tour with friends and met some great people in our group from all over! Food stops were all delicious and a great taste of the North End!! Definitely recommend this tour!

Great day with friends!

We spent a day with Audrey on her Sip, Savor and Shop food tour in the North End of Boston and it was fantastic. Audrey is funny, knowledgeable and well-loved by the North End businesses/restaurants we visited. We were made to feel welcome and the food was incredible! A great way to spend a day with friends or family! I would ablsolutely do an other tour with Audrey! She is a warm-hearted and hospitable tour guide for sure!

Well, the secret's out! At Boston Foodie Tours, we offer a private women-only North End Sip, Savor & Shop tour with one requirement: You must arrive with "F.U.N" written on your forehead. As in this case, our guests are often celebrating a Girls' Getaway Weekend, or, perhaps, a Girls' Day Out, or a birthday. Our group of local 50+ women - only one of whom had experienced a food tour previously - came to eat, laugh, and to shop. We didn't disappoint, and neither did they! What they didn't bargain for, though, was the cheerleading lesson from the local florist/former coach, or the dancing while waiting for calamari. We threw those in for free! Sure, we could simply bring our guests from stop to stop, and provide them with delicious tastings, with a little history thrown in for good measure, but, at Boston Foodie Tours, we like to put the "D" in "Delicious" and in "Different". We're thrilled that on this day our unique style was the perfect recipe for our four lovely guests., and we're confident that it will be for future women's groups as well.

Total blast on a Girls Day Out!

My friends and I had a total blast with Audrey on her 'Sip, Savor and Shop' tour! All the food we had was amazing and it was fun to be introduced to many of the great shops in the North End. Audrey is a true treasure of knowledge about food, the North End, empowering women and having fun!! You won't regret spending time with and learning from Audrey!

Women supporting women, what could be better than that, especially when leading up to Women's History Month, and International Women's Day? A thoughtful referral from a highly regarded woman historical tours owner led to our hosting four of the loveliest and most fun-loving women we've met to date at Boston Foodie Tours. Thank you for allowing us to take part in your foursome's Girls' Getaway weekend. We were thrilled to offer you a customized North End Sip, Savor, and Shop version of our North End Neighborhood Tour, which enabled us to introduce you to not only the neighborhood's best eats, but also to the boutiques and specialty shops of some of its talented women business owners. We hope that we inspired all of you to enjoy more culinary adventures wherever your travels may bring you, and that you might consider joining us again in the future. We've got more award-winning foods to introduce you to, along with more surprises up our sleeves that are sure to result in lots of laughter and food memories.

Audrey is a gem who shows you the gems of the North End.

We had the pleasure of exploring the North End with the fabulous Audrey yesterday. Audrey truly cares about the community, small businesses, and humans that keep the neighborhood humming - and you can tell how much the neighborhood loves her back. As new Boston residents, this tour was a perfect way to discover things we wouldn’t have on our own. From the extensive history and stories behind who runs these family businesses, to trying the most delicious eats (do come hungry!), and the serendipitous moments in between, I could not recommend a tour with Audrey enough. Ten minutes in, my face already hurt from smiling so much. If you want to tour a special neighborhood with a truly special person, Audrey is your gal.

We've often suggested that food tours in general are a wonderful gift idea for newcomers to any major city, and were thrilled to learn that our guests' gift giver felt the same way, too. And, in this case, the gift giver was the boss!!! Arriving with a bounce in their steps, and ear-to-ear smiles, this tour guide was delighted to introduce these recent Detroit transplants to the best eats of Boston's North End, a must-visit for both locals and visitors alike. While the delicious Italian food is always a draw, we don't think that a North End visit is complete unless you experience the culture, too, whether via shopkeepers, restaurant owners, or an Italian Nonna or two. On this day, we were able to offer an unexpected private tour, which allowed our guests to experience the North End as longtime locals would. We're hopeful that these guests will be inspired to return to the North End, and to showcase it their visitors as well. And we're hopeful that more bosses will consider Boston Foodie Tours' e-gift cards for valued employees, whether to celebrate an onboarding, a departure, or simply a job well done.

North End Must-do Experience!

This is the second North End foodie tour we did with Audrey. We are a family of 6, including two teenagers, and everyone loved it! We did it Dec 23 - Audrey showed up in full Mrs. Claus attire with Christmas bells. The neighborhood was festive to begin with, but everywhere we went every shopowner/worker lit up when they saw Audrey. This tour is so successful and fun because of the relationships Audrey has built over the years. Her stories, institutional knowledge of everything North End and, of course, the fab food stops make it a must-do experience. The day will be a treasured memory for our family.

This tour stands out as one of our most memorable yet! Not only were we able to host lovely past guests with yet more visiting family on our North End Neighborhood Tour, we were also able to launch Mrs. Claus!!! Thank you for not only supporting Boston Foodie Tours a second time, but also for allowing us to combine a bit of holiday shenanigans and neighborhood gift-giving with the North End's best eats. While we don't want to give too much away for future December guests, we'll simply say that your "singin' and a-jinglin''" will be hard to beat. And lest you think that our toolbox is empty, there's always Halloween!!!

A Must Do

Audrey is amazing! What a fun day with delicious tastings, getting to meet and interact with the chefs and other staff that prepare all the delicious food with which Audrey has such a wonderful and witty relationship with❤️

Risposta dell'operatore

Phew, that was a close one. Teen son loved our North End Neighborhood Tour, but rated it a tongue-in-cheek 4.5 stars. Why not five stars? "You didn't harass my dad enough!!!" Thankfully, Mom thought that it was just the right amount of good-natured spousal harassment, and that the food wasn't too bad, either! Thank you for choosing Boston Foodie Tours, and for allowing us to introduce you to the joy of food tours. We hope that food memories, the family photos, and our light-hearted approach to leading tours will continue to bring a smile to your face, and inspire you to seek out more food tours in the future.

Wow, Audrey is a pro!...

Wow, Audrey is a pro! She’s a wealth of knowledge about the north end and a community fixture. Would recommend!

Risposta dell'operatore

Travel plans sometimes change, and, when they do, Boston Foodie Tours is at-the-ready. Thanks to you and your lovely family for joining us last-minute, and for being such a delight to host. We were thrilled to introduce seasoned food tour enthusiasts - whether little, a tweener, or big ones - to the North End's best eats, and to lead you to discoveries that you may choose to enjoy again as locals. Perhaps the greatest compliment we could have received came from your older daughter as she departed: "This tour was right up there with the Paris one!". Whether true or not, we'll take it, and we'll hope that the enjoyable day spent together as a family, and the food memories, will last a lifetime.

We loved the North End and Audrey!

From the very beginning, this tour did not disappoint. When booking the reservation, I needed a little flexibility in time and Viator and Audrey were helpful, prompt, and accommodating. Audrey was so much fun and so knowledgeable, the food delicious, and the North End beautiful and charming. Ending with a full sit down dinner was the perfect end to the tour. We went to Caffe Victoria for cappuccinos, espressos, pasteries, and affogato after the tour. I highly recommend this. Bring cash with you! Many establishments in the North End only accept cash as payment. While the tour is paid for in advance, you may want to make purchases before, after, or along the way.

On this day, too much fun may have been had by all, including this tour guide!!! Thank you for joining us on our North End Neighborhood Tour, and for including us in your siblings' annual trip with partners. Together, on a beautiful fall day, you laughed, you ate, and you laughed and ate some more. And what better way to top off the tour after a lovely pasta finale than at Caffe Vittoria, the oldest caffe in Boston? If its vintage charm didn't win you over, we suspect that its multi-award-winning cappuccino did. Thanks for making memories with Boston Foodie Tours, and for leaving a few wonderful ones behind as well. Wishing you many more yearly vacations and culinary adventures together.
