Tour con minivan di classe Premium, solo per il tuo gruppo o la tua famiglia, orari flessibili. Escursionismo moderato. Korouoma è lunga 30 chilometri e profonda fino a 130 metri di profondità nella valle della frattura del canyon. Canyon e le sue alte scogliere formano un paesaggio mozzafiato da godere durante tutto l'anno. Korouoma si trova nella regione di Koillismaa nella Lapponia Meridionale. Il paesaggio della zona è eccezionalmente robusto e grandioso. Diversi torrenti ripidi di 30 metri si congelano durante l'inverno formando enormi formazioni di ghiaccio, offrendo fantastici panorami e giochi di colori. Il trasferimento in auto da Rovaniemi dura circa 1 ora e mezza. Il picnic con bevande calde sarà offerto durante il viaggio a fuoco aperto. Ottimo posto per fare foto naturalistiche tutto l'anno. Durata 5-7 ore

Our guide, Normund, was very well-informed, and shared with us a lot of local flora and fauna knowledge, along with a lot of little interesting tidbits. As part of a hunting club, we also learnt a lot about the dos and don’ts in that department from him. We had a lovely time exploring the 7-9km trail, where we very quickly found out how much fitter he was than us. Bring a light jacket during autumn as you definitely start to warm up quick with the up and downhills. The trip ended nicely with some sausages over the fire. The scenery was beautiful, and I’m sure it would be even more stunning in the winter.

Very glad we chose to book a private tour rather than going with a group. We learned our lesson after a snowshoeing expedition was derailed by people (and/or young children) who were not prepared to do vigorous activity or be outside in such severe temperatures---it was unseasonably cold even for Finland, but the temperatures didn't bother us. My husband and I are experienced hikers and the guide was able to adjust the pace accordingly, and it was much more relaxing just the three of us. I definitely recommend booking private outdoor expeditions if you are even just a little more active than the average person.

It was a great experience and we had a safe trip thanks to our guide (Ande "Andrew in finnish"), who was very nice, was taking proper safety precausions and was very helpful throughout the trip. Ande was also very knowledgable about the natural life and told us many fascinating facts about animals and the tracks they leave. We strongly recommend this tour for anyone looking to go on an amazing hike in the woods, walk by a fabulous canyon, get an astonishing view of frozen waterfalls, and enjoy a cozy picnic next to a fireplace.
Picked up from hotel on time we moved to the Korouoma Canyon. Very comfortable minivan. Hike and nature was nice. Fireplace picnic was delicious and tasty. Thank You Normund for guidance and knowledge of Lapland’s details.
It was very beautiful. Our guide was super friendly and explained and showed us everything. The view is much better than the pictures describe. We also ate good food, saw fox and other animal tracks and could take photos at any time. It was really amazing☺️

Normund and his assistant made us have a wonderful day. The discovery of this canyon before the influx of big tourist buses was really pleasant. We were in a small group (4 plus 2 guides), we took the time to loop and see the 3 frozen waterfalls. Normund is passionate about nature and Sami culture we learned a lot about the flora and Sami fauna during this tour. Then he prepared us a nice picnic around a fire before we got back. We recommend you 100% this tour.
