Il nostro tour ti porterà molte esperienze illuminanti. A Damnoen Saduak, farai un divertente giro in barca per esplorare il leggendario mercato galleggiante, dove potrai immergerti nella vibrante atmosfera e scoprire prodotti unici. Visiterai anche una fattoria locale di zucchero di cocco per conoscere il processo tradizionale di produzione dello zucchero di cocco e vedere come i coltivatori di sale producono sale marino per cucinare e curare la pelle. Al mercato "rischioso", forniremo un tour a piedi approfondito per assistere ai momenti "Unseen Thailand" mentre i venditori ritirano le bancarelle quando il treno si avvicina.

Prelievo dall'hotel e viaggio al mercato di Maeklong.
Il campo di sale biancastro, non un campo di riso, ovviamente. Un tour bonus speciale per i nostri ospiti che si uniscono al nostro tour del mercato galleggiante e ferroviario nel 2020. Questo sale marino è prodotto dalla saggezza locale tailandese. Il coltivatore di sale ruoterà l'acqua del mare a diversi livelli in base alla forza del vento e della luce solare. La rotazione continuerà finché il sale non diventerà una “montagna di sale” pronta per la cucina, la cura della pelle e l’agricoltura. Sulla Highway 35 nella provincia di Samut Sakhorn, la nostra guida ti porterà a strofinarti il sale sulla mano e a scattare foto meravigliose!
Il mercato ferroviario è scherzosamente chiamato il mercato “a rischio di vita”! Ti divertirai a viaggiare su un treno locale verso la stazione di Mae Klong. Mentre sei su questo treno, vedrai l'esperienza "Unseen-Thailand". Quando suonerà il segnale del treno, accadrà il caos! I venditori si precipiteranno a sminuire la loro bancarella e a ripulire tutta la merce che ostruisce il treno in corsa a grande velocità. Una volta passato il treno, tutti i negozianti riprenderanno nuovamente i loro banchi.
Osserverai come gli agricoltori tailandesi producono nettare di cocco e pan di zucchero di palma. Vedrai una dimostrazione di come tagliare i fiori di cocco, versare il nettare in un contenitore di bambù, mettere i legni di conservazione nel contenitore, far bollire e pastorizzare il nettare di cocco in quello potabile. Proverai a spremere il latte di cocco dal guscio di cocco utilizzando una tradizionale macchina di legno tailandese a "denti di coniglio".

Very interesting experience with markets on the water and railway. My children had an amazing time with the sights. In general in Thailand, our experience with tour guides’ English and accents can be difficult for us, but overall a great experience!

The railway markets were a sight to be seen but it was all very rushed and the salt farm prior was quite uninteresting. My main issue was with the floating market though. It was so crammed full of tourist boats that it was difficult to get through and there was no chance to see what the market was really like, let alone buy anything. The worst thing however were firstly the snakes which people try to throw over your shoulder so that you will pay for a photo, there were so many of them in cages throughout and I’m sure they were either drugged and/or had there fangs removed. I almost cried when amidst all the noise, crowds, confusion and chaos, I saw someone holding a terrified little slow loris for people to take photos with. I’m sure it was not the only exotic animal there and they would all be equally as terrified, snakes included and it is for this reason that I would never recommend that anyone go there and especially anyone who has any love or respect for animals

Lin and Kevin were absolutely amazing. We were a large group with a few seniors folks, both of them were extremely patient, kind and helpful. If you are taking this tour, take it only with Lin and Kevin! They will take good pictures, negotiate with vendors for you, take you to all good places and ensure you have the best of the time! They even make sure no one photo bombs you or pushes you around in an overtly crowded market! We made so many memories, thanks to them!
