Itinerario
Il tour inizia dall'ingresso del Colosseo. Il più grande Anfiteatro dell'Impero Romano, "l'Anfiteatro Flavio", questo era il nome originale del Colosseo, aveva 80 ingressi e una capacità di più di 50.000 spettatori.
Dopo una visita completa del Colosseo raggiungerete il Foro, la Guida vi porterà poi al foro, la piazza principale dell'Antica Roma. Qui visiterete la Casa del Senato, il Tempio di Vesta, il Tempio di Saturno, l’Altare del Divino Giulio Cesare, il Tempio dei Gemelli, la Basilica Emilia, l’Arco di Settimio Severo e molto altro ancora.

We had a fantastic experience touring the Colosseum and Roman Forum with Tomasso. His passion for history was evident throughout the entire tour, and his insights brought these incredible sites to life in a way that was both engaging and informative. What really stood out was Tomasso’s thoughtful consideration for the group. Given the intense heat, he made sure everyone knew where to find water, took opportunities for shade when possible, and pointed out bathroom locations along the way. Those small details made a big difference and showed how much he cared about ensuring everyone had a comfortable experience. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and attentiveness created the perfect balance of education and enjoyment. We learned so much while also feeling well taken care of throughout the tour. I would highly recommend Tomasso to anyone visiting Rome and looking for an exceptional Colosseum and Roman Forum experience.
Paola was FANTASTIC. Clearly an expert archaeologist, she was extremely knowledgeable, thorough & intrigued us the entire morning. We found Paola very engaging, funny, personable & liked her immediately. I would like to note that the booker needs to add more details on the meeting point. For example, it would have been very beneficial had they stated to wait by the green kiosk for your guide. We were told our guide was there & holding a sign with our name in it therefore we were walking in circles through masses of people trying to locate someone holding a sign with our name on it. None of this was Paola’s fault, in my opinion. We absolutely loved her!
This type of rating is guide specific. The guide was Claudia. She was knowledgeable and fluent in English. She also exhibited a passion for the history of Ancient Rome, including political. She had pictures depicting the likely original appearance of some of the ruins.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Sara. She did the most amazing job guiding us through both our Jubilee Vatican tour and our Colosseum & Roman Forum tour in Rome. Sara is incredibly smart, deeply knowledgeable, and wonderfully personable—the perfect combination for a truly memorable experience. She brought history to life with clear explanations, fascinating details, and thoughtful context, while always keeping the tour engaging and enjoyable. During the Jubilee, she navigated everything seamlessly and made what could have been overwhelming feel meaningful and special. Beyond her expertise, Sara’s warmth and genuine enthusiasm made us feel completely at ease. She was attentive, patient, and always happy to answer questions, making the experience feel personal rather than scripted. If you are visiting Rome—especially during the Jubilee—Sara is the guide you want. She elevated our entire trip, and we feel so fortunate to have toured with her. Highly, highly recommend!

From the moment we met our guide we knew we were in for a treat. The Colosseum came to life for us, as did the streets of Ancient Rome. Philip was our guide for the morning and he did a great job of helping us navigate the crowds but still making sure we made it to all the best viewing points. He even made sure we had some great family photos as well. Philip was exceptionally knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed our morning tour and would certainly recommend a private tour for this experience, having him help us navigate made the morning stress free so we could really appreciate the experience.
