Itinerario
La prima tappa è su un chiosco di frutta, puoi assaggiare frutti tropicali come il miglior ananas in Costa Rica! La guida ti mostrerà alcune piante, come l'ananas, il cespuglio di caffè Liberica, la canna da zucchero e anche alcuni alberi come l'albero di cacao, il mango e il noni.
Accanto alla bancarella della frutta abbiamo il negozio di souvenir, qui puoi gustare un ottimo caffè e trovare ottimi prodotti realizzati in Costa Rica
La nostra seconda tappa. Visiteremo le piantagioni di banane e cioccolato, dove vedrai piante di banane, piante di caffè e alberi di cacao, la guida turistica ti darà spiegazioni di queste piantagioni.
The Highlight, un giro in barca in uno dei canali più grandi del Costa Rica, ottimo posto per la fauna selvatica, qui avrai la possibilità di vedere scimmie urlatrici, bradipi, caimani, coccodrilli, uccelli e altro ancora!
La nostra ultima fermata sarà a Playa bonita (Pretty beach), in questa fermata puoi bere bibite, frullati, cocktail o birra, anche se vuoi puoi mangiare qualcosa, ti consiglio il Rice and Beans con salsa di caribean, o Patacones il chip locali in Costa Rica realizzati con piantaggine
L'ultima parte sarà un tour della città a Port Limon, vedrai edifici importanti come la prima chiesa di Bapthis a Limon, la vecchia stazione ferroviaria, la chiesa principale della città, il Big Boy Stadium l'unico stadio di baseball in tutta la provincia .

Il tuo tour inizia all'interno del molo, dove le nostre guide ti aspetteranno con un cartello che mostra il tuo nome. Cerca le nostre camicie rosse per una facile identificazione. Offriamo il ritiro proprio all'interno del molo, quindi non c'è bisogno di camminare fuori dalle strutture. Tempi: I tour sono previsti 30 minuti dopo l'attracco della nave, con il primo tour che inizia alle 8:00. Come miglior tour operator locale, garantiamo il tuo ritorno alla nave da crociera

Fijn om te horen dat alles goed georganiseerd was en soepel is verlopen. We doen ons best om elke tour persoonlijk, efficiënt en zorgeloos te laten verlopen, dus het is geweldig om te lezen dat dit ook zo is ervaren. Four us ( 2 couples) did what we normally do which was to book a private tour through Viator We were met at the cruise terminal by our guide Rosa and taken in a modern 6 seater to the canal boat ride. Rosa and Pablo ( guide for another party) spotted monkeys and sloths and iguanas in the trees and gave us lots of information. We then visited The Plantation and saw and learned about pineapple and cocoa and banana plants as well as many others. Our final part of the trip was to have a tour of Limon and visit a hotel on the beach where we could buy lunch. We asked Rosa if she could find us a nice local bar instead, which she did with panoramic views over Limon and the beach. We had a lovely chat with Rosa over cold local beers . Rosa is studying tourism and was bright and knowledgeable and very personable. We highly recommend the tour and Rosa

We had a great day in Limon Costa Rica with jeremy and Leslie. We learned a lot about the country and city. We were able to see many places, a banana plantation, beach, canal tour. We were able to see sloths, birds, cayman, and a lot of local vegetation. We even stopped by a fruit stand to try local fruits- delicious.

Excellent tour led by Kimberly and driver Luis. Wonderful exploration of a country unknown to us. Our guide Kimberly was great and brought us right into the fauna and flora of Costa Rica!

We met our guide (Christian) right at the cruise port. Our group of 6 had a private tour for the day and were transported in really nice "like new" air conditioned vehicles. Our first stop was the Tortuguero Canal for some nature sightseeing where we saw several sloths, several small crocodiles, a caiman, a basilisk lizard, and a family of monkeys, along with a few hawks and many other birds. We toured a banana plantation where Christian explained the banana harvesting process and introduced us to many other plants and flowers that are found in Costa Rica. We took a scenic overview tour of the port city of Limón. We had lunch (not included in price) at a local restaurant located right on the beach where to paraphrase the song "we got our toes in the water, azz in the sand, not a worry in the world with cold beers in our hands". All said and done, this was a great tour and a nice introduction to Costa Rica, which is a place where we would definitely love to return to in the not too distant future! As they say in Costa Rica - "pura vida!"
