Il nostro tour esclusivo comprende alcuni dei luoghi più belli che la zona ha da offrire, da Millionaire's View alle Cascate di Shin. Il momento clou della giornata è la visita al magico e magnifico castello di Dunrobin. Gli ospiti arriveranno in tempo utile per lo spettacolo di falconeria (da non perdere) e avranno tutto il tempo per esplorare il castello, i giardini e il museo. Il pomeriggio ti porterà poi al Royal Burgh di Dornoch prima di rilassarti con una visita alla distilleria Glenmorangie.

Itinerario
Il Millionaire's Viewpoint (come è noto alla gente del posto) è la prima tappa e ci sarà tutto il tempo per scattare foto prima che il tour scenda nel Glen attraverso il Bonar Bridge sulla strada per The Falls of Shin e Salmon Leap.
The Falls of Shin Visitor Center & Salmon Leap. Il salmone atlantico può essere visto spesso saltare le cascate, facendo la spinta finale verso il loro luogo di nascita affinché il ciclo ricominci da capo. Anche senza il salmone che salta è un bel posto che offre un inizio di giornata rilassante. Il centro visitatori dispone anche di servizi igienici e un caffè.
Dunrobin Castle & Gardens è molto popolare tra i locali e va sempre bene con i nostri ospiti. Lo spettacolo di falconeria è incredibile - Andy (The Falconer) ha lavorato con gli uccelli locali per oltre 25 anni e la sua conoscenza e passione brillano attraverso. È un personaggio molto interessante e molte persone dicono che è il migliore che hanno visto nel mondo. Il castello sembra uscito da una fiaba e ambientato nelle Highlands scozzesi sembra magnifico. Dunrobin ha anche un museo straordinariamente unico e una collezione di tassidermie per coloro che sono interessati.
Dornoch è sede di una splendida spiaggia di sabbia dorata e di un campo da golf di classe mondiale, ma anche senza queste cose ti porta in un'altra epoca. Il vecchio carcere è stato trasformato in un negozio che vende souvenir, gioielli e opere d'arte di produzione locale, se sei alla ricerca di souvenir. Il Duomo attira anche molti visitatori con una collezione di belle vetrate. Dornoch è anche un ottimo posto dove fermarsi per il pranzo con un sacco di opzioni tra cui un panificio locale, una pasticceria, una galleria, l'hotel Eagle (ottimo pesce e patatine) e The Carnegie Courthouse quindi c'è qualcosa per tutti i gusti.

Gavin is big, bold and full of fun. His personality alone was worth the price. His stories and descriptions were fascinating and we really loved Dunrobin. He fit a lot of tour into what was unfortunately a too-short time frame and the boot full of whiskeys for tasting only added to the fun. We would book him again in a heartbeat.

We were on the Crown princess Ultimate Dunrobin Castle tour with Invergordon Tours. Everything was organized from the warm greeted by Gavin. The day was well planned and organized. Our tour guide, Joan was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. I would highley recommend this family run company for any tour!
Our guide, Joan, was unbelievably knowledgeable not only on the points of interest, but the routes she had us take were breathtaking! John, our driver, handled the bus admirably well. Recommendations for food and shopping were spot on! The tour company is family run, and it shows in the care they take with the booking, pickup and execution. I’d take another of their tours again a heartbeat!

This tour offers so much - Dunrobin Castle and the falconry show are spectacular, and you also get a beautiful, scenic ride through the highlands with stops at Falls of Shin where the salmon run, the charming village of Dornach and a distillery tour. Our guide, Joan, is a very personable local whose narrative was informative, yet fun and easy to listen to because of her personal touch. The owner of Invergordon Tours, Gavin, also popped in at various points in the tour and is great fun. You could tell they are focused on making sure everyone has a good experience. The instructions regarding pickup and where to find them when we got off the cruise ship were very clear. We highly recommend Invergordon Tours!!
