Visiterete 3 villaggi tipici (uno dei quali è considerato uno dei più belli della Spagna), 2 bellissime chiese e 5 magnifici punti panoramici, tra cui il punto più alto di Gran Canaria. Itinerario
9.00: Partenza per il sud dell'isola per vedere le bellissime dune di Playa Del Ingles. Ci fermeremo in un magnifico punto panoramico presso l'hotel Riu Palace. Il sistema dunale di Maspalomas è un ambiente selvaggio unico nelle Isole Canarie, grazie alla sua bellezza e alla diversità dei suoi ecosistemi. I suoi 400 ettari, protetti dal governo delle Canarie come riserva naturale di particolare valore, comprendono una fantastica spiaggia, un dinamico sistema di dune di sabbia, un palmeto e una laguna salmastra. Questo mix di deserto e oasi si trova all'estremità meridionale di Gran Canaria ed è circondato dalla famosa località balneare di Maspalomas.
Partenza per un punto panoramico (Mirador in spagnolo) da cui si gode di una vista spettacolare su Playa Del Ingles, le sue dune e il suo faro da un lato e la magnifica gola di Fataga dall'altro.
Partenza per Fataga. Questo tranquillo villaggio arroccato su una valle è composto da piccole case bianche ben conservate e da strette strade fiorite. È circondato da gole, pini e un vasto e unico palmeto. Fermatevi a Fataga per una breve passeggiata nel villaggio.
Percorso fino al villaggio di San Bartolome de Tirajana, a 890 metri di altitudine. Visiteremo la chiesa del villaggio, consacrata nel 1922.
Il percorso prosegue fino al piccolo villaggio di Tejeda, che è stato nominato uno dei più bei villaggi della Spagna. Passeggiate nel villaggio e visitate la chiesa del 1921. Pranzo in un ristorante tipico con tapas locali (pasto non incluso nel prezzo dell'escursione).
Prenderemo poi la strada per Cruz de Tejeda, da dove (se non è troppo nuvoloso) avremo una magnifica vista su Tenerife e sul vulcano El Teide, la cima più alta della Spagna (3715 metri). Cruz de Tejeda segna il centro geografico dell'isola. Fermatevi a scattare foto e ad ammirare il paesaggio.
Si parte poi per il Pico de las Nieves, il punto più alto di Gran Canaria. Per apprezzare l'essenza di un luogo e assorbirne l'atmosfera, non c'è niente di meglio che andare sul punto più alto. A Gran Canaria, questo è il belvedere del Pico de las Nieves, proprio al centro dell'isola. A 1.949 metri di altitudine, nelle giornate limpide si gode di una vista mozzafiato sulla Riserva della Biosfera dell'Unesco, con le sue innumerevoli valli profonde e le creste frastagliate, avvolte dalla vegetazione e coronate da rocce spettacolari.
Prenderemo poi la strada verso il nord di Gran Canaria e ci fermeremo al punto panoramico "Caldera de Los Marteles". Creato da un'eruzione vulcanica a contatto con l'acqua sotterranea, questo cratere (Caldera) ha una profondità di circa 80 metri e un diametro di 550 metri. Se non è nuvoloso, si può anche godere di una magnifica vista su Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Sarà poi il momento di tornare in albergo per concludere il tour intorno alle 18.00-18.30.

We experienced a wonderful trip from Playa del Inglés to Las Palmas and are absolutely thrilled! Our tour guide Fabienne led us through the city with a lot of heart, humor and enormous expertise. We explored the beautiful old town, went for a relaxing walk on Las Canteras beach and even stayed in a rooftop bar with fantastic views over the beach...a real highlight! We particularly liked that Fabienne has led us off the typical tourist trails. You immediately notice how well he knows and how much he likes to share his knowledge of Gran Canaria. Everything became understandable, exciting and explained with many small insider stories. To top it off, we went to a typical Canarian restaurant in a mountain village, authentic, cosy and incredibly delicious. Another big plus: Fabienne took many beautiful photos of us during the tour and sent them to us all the next day – a great service and a lasting memory of that day. Clear and unqualified recommendation! If you really want to get to know Gran Canaria, this tour is the right place for you. We would definitely book again!

Superb excursion Agüimes, Guayadeque, Tufia and Bandama, very different villages and landscapes in the same day. Historical discovery of the island and its first inhabitants. Discovery of the crater. Fabien is a wonderful guide who allows us to discover Gran Canaria Island by leaving the tourist mass and the international complexes without charm. He introduces us to the real Canaria and its culture. Second excursion made with him and I hope not the last.

In May 2024, I had the opportunity to make an excursion to Teror, Firgas Arucas and Agaete with Fabien with complete satisfaction. Back in Gran Canaria, of course, we called on his services again. This time we opted for a visit to the Dunes and Mountains. What a contrast! Departure from Las Palmas in the morning by the motorway to the south to arrive at the viewpoint of the Maspalomas Dunes then an ascent to the mountains with breathtaking scenery. Many stops to allow us to visit, take pictures and a fabulous typical lunch, not at all expensive in the village of Tejeda. Return via a “Caldera” (a crater). It was wonderful weather and back at our hotel in Las Palmas we once again felt like leaving a long-time friend. Paul and Annick.
